Love the videos dude! Just to clarify though, you do sell courses so isn't it a little dishonest to say that 100% of your income comes from your camera? Unless you don't profit off those courses. Also you do more product reviews than other CZcamsrs who focus on the business side plus you use affiliate links. I've learned a lot from your channel, but this video just felt a little misleading.

I like this comment! let’s address it. 1 you don’t get paid to do product reviews when you only have 60,000 subscribers.. It’s a product review, NOT sponsored video. Companies will send you something for free to review it. NOTE: I ONLY do product reviews. Because the photo and video audiences don’t search for ways to grow their business, they search for gear. So I review gear with a business twist and pull you into business. (And my reviews are based on Can this item make money for your business) To grow the channel. It’s hard to determine what keywords a person would use to learn about business or marketing, but it’s easy to know what they would search when looking for a7s. iii info. 2. People assume you’re doing $100k a month because you have courses for sale. NO, I have 60k subs which means 0.005% of my subs will ever see each video I post. I don’t talk about my courses in every video. Though there are sales, it’s not what you think. 3. People who have never had a business don’t understand that running a CZcams channel and having a platform to host courses and a community, website, editors, writing blogs, equipment, music, and other subscriptions, and all the other business expenses. COST MONEY. (And the time from my other business) so yes, the goal is for anything I have for sale to offset those expenses and become profitable so you can invest more into the channel. That goes for affiliate links. I’m not a 50 million subscriber channel. I’m at the size where I’m forced to think about if I really have to decide if I want to keep doing this at least almost every month. You’re confusing me with Peter McKinnon or those guys with millions of subs. That makes $10k a month off ad revenue, lol. Not me, bro. PLUS, even if after it was all said and done, I took home $1 extra. It still came from my camera! I recorded those courses, those beta clients connect videos, those review videos, or whatever. Anyway, you want to slice it. From my full-time company (FlashFilm Media) or my part-time FlashFilm Academy, if I don’t put that battery in that camera and power it on that day, I DON’T EAT. The point I’m trying to prove is I’m not working a 9-5 in IT or something and coming to CZcams selling you all the idea that you can do this full-time. I’m actually doing it full-time. 100% of every dollar I earn in life comes from my camera.

Ha ha ha Ty a few of them have me blocked. I have made comments on their channels and I have gotten blasted for it.
They use three or four camera systems all 1.2 primes and 2.8 zooms and I tell them that is not supportable.
I have done this full time for a while.
    Right on
I have 4 assistants and I had a few locals ask me how are you going this.

Tons of examples like that ...
This channel is very useful. Only thing is that your videos seems to be compressed as hell. I'm watching 1440p now, and it looks like 320p :(.

Not always true, if you're good at business you work smarter not harder. I don't work 40 hours a week, I don't have to. that's for 9-5ers. This is my hobby. I enjoy teaching. Plus I can give you every ingredient to making a cake. My members get the ingredients in the right order. Plus lets be real, I can post everything I know on youtube 99.9% won't apply it to their business. So this don't create competition for me. and even if it did there's enough money out here for EVERYBODY!

Agree on most points except the part growth: “What business doesn’t want to grow?” There are other ways to grow rather than simply scale up the size of operation (depending on your aspirations and interests of course). I had zero interest in running a production company so I’ve grown by fostering better quality relationships, developing my niche and focusing on directing projects that I find more meaningful and in line with my values. This has given me more control to spend more time with my family whilst still supporting them.

Stuffed equipment in to a BMW, not fun. Got an older truck, not enough. Bought a 6x10 trailer, truck was barely enough to handle everything. Upgraded to a newer truck with a tow pkg and just over a year later with all these revisions to my trailer.. not enough, ugh.. I can relate to grip equipment not fitting in a car, let alone a bag 🤣

I'm making a major investment getting back into the game. I've been laid off two months and have enrolled in Micro business classes. I'm side hustling with this gig economy job so I can free up my time with my business plan. Not going back to shooting Music Video, Weddings, or Portraits photography, but concentrate on B to B. Beside Flash film Academy what should be my main investment
