It’s actually the opposite for me. Been taking pics since I was 5 (I have proof)
      Professional since 03.
I looked at some of my recent work and it sucked😂.
Looked thru my hard drives back at some classics and I really liked how I used to do it.
So I’ve been using old methods and bam! Everyone that’s seen my last 3 sessions is trying to book me now.

You have NO idea how helpful this was. You should 110% create a series. Show behind the scenes, camera settings, favorite items, how to market yourself, social media, making a website, etc! I did some cold calling for some pro-bono photos today and am aiming for at least 5 houses to make a presentation for real estate agents. I started with photography in my last year of elementary school and I made money in Middle school and I got more and more clients. I think it is really important to get some sort of education (not only online) even if it's just a summer camp or a workshop, professional artists can help you and also let you know if your price is a good price for what you do because a lot of people think they are better than they actually are. I'm in art school (photography and film) for 2 year now and I learned a lot more.

I started with a similar setup and finally upgraded to a Nikon Z6. It was well worth the price. The autofocus makes my job so much easier and the photos come out more vibrant. Although the camera doesn’t make the photographer, it can make things a lot easier. Now, I come back from shoots with far less blurry images and can use the screen as a viewfinder which helps me get a fuller view of things. The camera also has amazing autofocus so if you did get it, it would double as a great video camera. The video feature is great for taking self portrait since you can film and pose, then take stills. I’m realizing now this sounds like a Nikon ad, but in all honesty I’m just so grateful for my camera upgrade and how much easier it makes my job!

I think you are extremely talented. This video has a lot to say but it's also very simple and understandable. Great work! You are a great speaker. I've seen this video few weeks ago but came here just now to write this comment, because I always think of this
when I see someone talking on youtube not so good that I start loosing track of what he/she is saying or when they do it in a complicated way. Keep doing the great work. 🙃

Holy shit am I glad I found this video. I'm a recent photography graduate from OCAD U and I don't know if it's just me but I felt that I only learned half of what I needed to know. It is definitely more of a conceptual school but for what I'm paying, I'd like to learn how to set up a business/career in what I'm learning. Anywho, absolutely amazing and heavily informative. I'll be re-watching as I grow more into my career. Thank you!!

I get statements all the time from friends and family telling me i should become a photographer because they love the pictures i take with just my iPhone 11 and with very basic editing. So that’s why Im here. this video was sooo informative, well planned, and organized. Thank you!

And I also like the idea with constantly updating the website for a more professional feel! Awesome video and I’ll be subscribing!!
