you can not add faces for players or coaches or logos for the teams in the internal editor right?
I am unable to use the in-game editor. I get the error 1035 unable to connect when i open downloads even thou i bought my editor from steam itself. Someone please help!!!!
Ive never brought the ingame editor, but im curious, i use a custom tactic and can never find any staff ie hoyd which kinda makes not wanna do long term saves, with the editor can i give my staff my tactic or can you only give the base tactics that are in the game already ?
I see many pre game editor comments but I would like to see if you can do a league editor during. akak adding teams to a league or adding prize money to a competition. etc etc
I'm thinking of buying in game editor and I have 2 questions about it. The first one is can I change the squad number of a player and how? And the second one can I prevent a player from retiring?
My favourite use of the editor by far is going into competitions and turning off VAR! I get that it's realistic, but having a VAR check after almost every goal gets a bit tedious after a while. It's not like the game doesn't already know what the right decision is.

Thanks for this. Have never used in-game editor in the past so it gave a good view of it.
One thing that always irritated me was nationality of players. On those young kids they could often be wrong from the get go by SI. Young Africans living in Europe then decide years into the save to play for ancestors home country. It happens very often and you find out that after playing awhile from the regular IRL news. SI got it wrong. So this can be changed.
Love that you can change names on perhaps a fictional player popping in and you know IRL player was too young to be in the DB can take the fictionals place further into your save. Great.
Same with VAR changes. Some league don't have it this year but planning to change that 1-2 years from now. Can be done then in the editor ?
Still one thing that might be harder and risky to do with a in-game editor (and missing I think) is to handle the relegation and promotion of teams in countries that got North/South/West/East in lower divisions. In the past you could end up with the far southern team ending up in the North Div when it got promoted or relegated. Common problem in Scandinavian countries for their lower divisions.

You guys should do a video about the pregame editor. It’s very confounding and unapproachable for beginners. I’ve been playing for 20 years and it’s that way to me!
Oh man, you could do a series on the pregame editor alone. It’s a very complex beast and we’ve got a lot of respect for anybody who manoeuvres it with competence. Something we’d love to bring to the channel though, maybe a guest
I always want to use the pregame editor to unlock unusable, leagues, and nations in the game. That’s easy enough to do but it gets complex when you’re trying to simulate the different playoff styles for instant.
Every time you start a new game, you as a manager start with half a star as reputation; is it possible to use the editor to adjust the stars so that I can start with more than half a star?
Can you edit a players strong or weak foot? Couldnt see if you could in the vid.
I now try and split my saves into one of two types: the serious saves, where I try and avoid using the editor in all but the rarest circumstances, and the fun saves where I don't mind using it regularly because...well, I'm supposed to be having fun with them lol
Great way of playing the game. Very similar here, I have my long term save where it’s a tough challenge and then I’ll mess around the experiments throughout the year too
i dont know the reason but even though my in-game editor works fine i cant edit finances and stuff what can i do to fix it

Does anyone know how I can add the achievements option to players in fm editor? Because some players do not have the option to add them.
Is there a way to edit foreign player rules (La Liga) without just changing players nationalities? I'm mid-save but can use the editor. La Liga has an 3 player limit for foreigners, so annoying!
Hey, what if my FM 2024 can't showing the pencil even i already do what you told in a beginning the video. On my dashboard only World logo beside the question mark. Do you know where's the problem is?

You don’t need the editor to do that, you can do that in normal game
@@TheManagersSeat true but that could make the player got angry, though. I'm just wondering whether you can change their promised game time in their contract through in game editor so the player won't feel that way.
Anyone know if its possible to use a player as manager , example use editor and retire ronaldo and use his profile as manager instead of deleting his profile and creating a fake one?
Why no one explains what the staff attributes like "rotation", "intervention" etc. means? Every video i watched did not explain including this one and the devs dont answer too. Is it a secret?

when I started my career on beta version, I did not click on that box and there were of course no ingame editor by then. Will it appear in my beta career if I buy ingame editor right now or do I still have to start a new career?

Is there a way to remove the in-game editor icon from appearing in the menu bar? I don't mean unchecking the option "show in-game editor in the menu bar", I mean removing the icon entirely. When you untick that option it appears as a grey icon, but it's still there. Is there a way to uninstall it (I have the game in the Epic Store).
Go to Preferences -> Interface -> Untick Show In-Game Editor.

HOW do we change the max players-rule, say, in Serie A-teams? I have the editor, and wanna have 99 players instead of 25, but I cannot change the League rules with the in-game editor (there is no option for this at all)!...Can you guide me through plz? Thx in advance! \m/\m/
League rules are really complex, so editing that needs to be pre editor and then tested. However, you can remove rules which may help you get around the issue. Within the squad page, click editor and you’ll see squad reg rules
@@TheManagersSeat Im afraid that there is NO such an option in the squad-page mate!...There is no option of editing any regulations/rules for the team, let alone for the whole league... :-(
I have made a few staff changes with the In game editor for my current save. Is there anyway that I can save these changes so when ever I start a new save they always start with that team?
Afraid not, each save game creates a separate database.
You can get the pre game editor which is free and create different custom databases and select which database you want before u start a new save. You can also edit a lot more in the pre game editor like league structures, custom team, custom awards etc

So you purchased the editor? You shouldn’t need to do anything aside from start a new game and follow the setup step.

You can do as many as you want, and then move that back. Unlikited
can you add or change nation knowledge on staff members?
Yes you can, head to the staff members profile page and you’ll be able to do it

Sadly not I have the arcade version as well, the Netflix version does have a good editor but no 3d engine
I have downloaded the editor data after I bought the game but when I click on downloads it comes up saying that I haven’t bought it?
Via steam? Strange. Maybe check that it’s definitely gone out. Failing that, I’d check the steam account and maybe reset

Yeah you can add yourself with the editor. Not sure how it works on mobile, but on PC you can add a new manager with the same profile and take over that team. Then retire the other manager
If I buy Football Manager from CD Keys will it still be able to download the in game editor?
Hmm, not too sure sorry. You can definitely get it but maybe via a different route. I’d suggest clicking on the downloads and seeing what pops up

How could you use editor to improve the talent in say your country or town?
Country is quite easy, you can improve the youth recruitment and facilities of the clubs in that country. You could also make the HoYD of that nation 20 across the board
how can i edit prize money or tv revenue for certain leagues? i know you could in previous fm's but cant find it in the pre game editor this year.@@TheManagersSeat

Yes you can. In the squad page, click on editor and you’ll find it there
How can you give a club a transfer ban?
Why don’t they do it on console, why does pc have so much advantage over console what’s the point of making it same price but less features
On pc you can even add mods while on console it costs like 10€ more to add mods and its 100x harder
So they can fleece console players for micro transactions. They couldn't get away with that on PCs.
PC is THE master race, they make games from PC too bro 😂
Unfortunately it's just the way consoles work which socks
Console is moddable their just lazy devs, other games such as fallout 4 have mods as the devs added mod tools to the in game interface

Could you maybe do a video of the pre-game editor on how to enable unplayable leagues/nations, for example Cyprus or Ecuador? I think thats something many people would like to know instead of downloading files from Steam and other third parties
Had a few pregame editor requests, we’ll look at getting an expert on the channel
The in game editor isn't just for cheating. I've bought it just so I can go into the competition rules and turn off VAR. Having a 10 second VAR check after almost every goal isn't a fun gameplay experience.
