I appreciate a comic whose humor doesn’t rely on being loud
( how females tell jokes)
@@voztro An unfair generalization. There's no shortage of loud, obnoxious male comics. And there are plenty of subdued female comics, don't be an ass
NotKJJK I’m not an ass I’m just saying a female comedian never made me laugh I got female friends who make me die but not comedians. I’m not an ass I’m just saying how it is. And I haven’t named any loud obnoxious guys besides one or two. The rest are chill soooooo
NotKJJK go be a keyboard warrior someone else loser
@@voztro LOL, like you know any women in real life outside of your family. Edgy satanist boy. Stfu
I looked it up, Episode 215 did indeed air March 13 1967
This is the kind of guy who would demand to see your birth certificate before wishing you a "happy birthday"
👍🏽
I just watched it, and it's about a mayberry local (howard sprague) trying his hand at standup comedy, and pissing everybody in Mayberry off, and then they realize that it's just jokes. It's far from the best episode, and Andy isn't funny in the least in that episode.
@@TheShrededward Of all the episodes of AGS, how many other ones were about standup comedy? Andy Griffith was a very funny dude, with a comedy career before TV, but that's a really deep cut.
Only episode to feature a black actor in a speaking role
That's my new motto: "Twix, Skittles, shit like that."

That’s how you lure those fat girls?

BIKES!
This channel is so much better since I started skipping the intro sequence.
The intros suck!
@@hottubz1965 They're ironic. you're looking at it wrong
@@tylergarza8695 Irony does not equal funny, or entertaining. To each their own.
@@hottubz1965 Then like i said, you're looking at it wrong. They're overproduced on purpose, and it's funny. Just because you dont see the joke doesn't mean it's not funny.
It's only a small number of viewers that decide to be pricks and hate on shit because they can never be fully satisfied with something.
Well they're even worse now that Ari is gone.
Can TOTALLY attest to this. I opened for Bruce Bruce earlier this year, and we talked about Rick Flair for 2 days. Nothing else, just Rick Flair.
woooo!
Well, Rick is quite the personality. There is enough to talk about him for another 3 days.
How the fuck is talking about Rick Flair allowing you to attest to his love of Andy Griffith?!
@@shaunpearson7905 - He's a passionate man, dumb ass ;)
Lmao that's fucking hilarious.
"No, aspergers! I didn't see episode 215!" Hahahaha
I swear I thought he said "ass burgers", like intentionally
@@TexasBaker fck me too lol
@@TexasBaker lol me too.... 😂😂
@@TexasBaker The best part is that he probably said it like "ass-bergers" mentally lol His name calling is fucking legendary.
I work at a comedy club. And Bruce Bruce always rips on me. He spent a weekend getting at me because was in the front serving, so I was an easy target. And he always just had something good to say. I was fine with this...because it was fun and funny. After the weekend he caught me in the hallway...shook my hand...and said, "Thank you for being a good sport." I was shocked of the geniune kindness in this, as it's understood in the comedy club as etiquette to take comic banter with a grain of salt. But that moment really stood out to show what an amazing person he is. I was like, "You can pick on me any time you want, your BRUCE BRUCE!" He just smiled and went on with his day.
I wanna hear bruce bruce story of him meeting tom segura lol
Ikr
Segura the goat of timing
tye daley false
+Big Perm L
+88frogtoes Andy Griffith
I don't know Anthony Jeselnik's timing is amazing
Anthony Jeselnik may have good timing, but needs to work on... well, everything else.
It's amazing how guys like Tom can tell a pointless story about meeting a comedian I've never heard of, and still manage to keep my attention with consistent laughs.
Fucking great story teller. His story about GHB had me rolling.
I rewatched his special last night and realized this. His voice straight up hypnotizes you.
Heroin!.. Are you serious?!.. J.K!
So true. I got to meet Tom a while back and hes nice as hell also.
I met him last year after a show, he's a totally awesome dude in real life too!
SpaceManDawn His podcast with his wife is pretty good too, if you like hearing him talk.
What I like about this comedian is he seems like he's just the average Joe. He tells story's how it is without trying to be funny. Plain and simple, plus he's really likable.
Use his name smart guy
@@NustingButsErrday Tom Tom
You might say he's the personality champ
keep featherin' it bruther.
No disrespect but isn’t that the point of comedians… be themselves
"When you say your name twice theres alot of you"
That was supposed to have a bigger pop than it got lmao
So did the 4 bills crack lol
Thanks Tyrell, joke Jesus
The crowd is listening to the story! 🤣

4:18 “candy? Twix. Skittles. Shit like that “. I LOVE this part of the joke !!!
Im pretty sure this os the actual quote
what other parts of the jokes do you love?
sincerely, cedric
p.s. I also love that part of the joke
So bummed this was only one story, dude's one of the best right now.
Tom Segura has another one from last season if you haven't seen it. I think the older one was even funnier.
Dylan J for real, wish he had more standup videos. He has 1 full special on video and a couple albums but still I wish there was more shit, hes hilarious.
He has a special on NETFLIX
Ymh podcast
"When you say your name twice...there's a lot of you"
😂😂😂💀
if only that crowd knew who bruce bruce was (you can tell they didn't).... this story was hilarious!
loll word
Who is that then?
sadly I don't either but it was still funny
Well ima look him up on wiki or something cuz I never heard of him. So I think TomTom doing BruceBruce a small favor. Snicker, snort laugh.
I love Tom's Bruce Bruce voice... it's a lot like his Steven Seagal voice. :)
Jade Prout YESSSSS
they call it a Skippy.....skip...skip..skip
Bruce Bruce almost hit me with his car whilst I was walking.
That is all. 😁
Let's hear one of them
lmao I love Bruuce Bruce, I would have never known he was obsessed with Andy Griffith.
I dont know why but the "Whoop Whoop" had me dying.
Right I laughed hard probably because I can relate Lmfao😂😂😂😂😂😂
I saw Bruce Bruce live in 2019 and it was a greeeeeaaat show. He was down to Earth and just straight up hilarious.
I love this series. Can't skip past the openings fast enough.
The hilarious thing about this is that if you know bruce bruce that sounds just like him and everything man omgggg lolol
To be fair, the Andy Griffith show was and still is awesome. Its legitimately funny with great characters and just enough risqué innuendo about the characters and situations. The wedding episode with Barney Fife/ Don Knotts in a wedding dress is hilarious.
I live in mount Airy, nc where the show was based and it’s true, you can go to the museum and see the car and even his house
Was he funny?
@@eagillum probably not like you're thinking, more like clever wit & charm. Not quite dad-jokes, but granddad-jokes, with that kind of gentle, quiet masculinity that makes alpha-male types take a knee.
Think Fred Rogers as a sheriff.
Are you talking about Season 3, episode 31 that aired April 29th 1963?
@@jasonmcdaniel345 I like the cut of your gib
Watching this now, 5 or more years later, it really is amazing getting to see how he has honed his craft over the years. Hes always been good, but now he is a master. What a talent.
I have met Bruce Bruce many times and he is an extremely nice and down to earth guy. Really wish I would have known the Andy Griffith thing sooner!
i had surgery and watching this is killing me with pain through laughter.
superdry
Bruce Bruce, so nice, gotta say it twice. Love him.
I think Bruce Bruce was having a laugh at Tom's expense on this one. Fun Fact: Out of all 249 episodes of Andy Griffith (original series run), episode 215 is the *only* episode where an African-American has a speaking part (Coach Flip Conroy, played by Rockne Tarkington).
So animals spoke more than African Americans in the Andy Griffith show ?
@@pocohax6552 Unfortunately, that is a distinct possibility.
Saddens me that no one in the audience knew Bruce, Bruce.
''I KNOW!!! I BEEN SAYING THAT SHIT!!'' I completely lose it, his voice acting is hilarious omg! XD
I'd like to hear Bruce Bruce tell his side of this story...😂🤣😅
I come back every other day to hear the, "WHOOP WHOOP!"
The whoop whoop is from Bruce
The nuances are amazing! Bruce Bruce does those same face expressions!
0:59 beginning
I love when segura imitates stupid people or absurd events....he’s really good at that. Like no other.
Had to pause and look up Bruce Bruce cos we dont know him here in the UK ,Amazing loved every second and no wonder strangers buy him Skittles
He is the absolute pinnacle of the Comic View niche of Black Comedy during my time in College. I went to an elite university [cable/satellite was prohibited/outlawed on campus] during the height of Bruce Bruce's career, and we [Afro-American & comedy fans] used to schedule times to view taped recordings of his work.
I love Brits anyway, True2022! But one with great comic taste...priceless.
toms delivery is so good . its like a perfect blend of laid back and rushed at he same time , if that makes any sense ..
I love tom. His new special was good. But completely normal was INSANE.
yes!
Do you or don't you know dookie shoes
both were about even for me. He just keeps getting funnier and funnier. Gonna see him tonight. Been a long time coming for me
I was standing right here and he kill that guy... **points foot slightly to the left** here
Rollsroyce44 "we heard you had on a blue shirt"
"Yeah I stabbed those people."
5:52 Andy Griffith! You can touch shit that he used to touch !
Lmao I love this joke. So hilarious 😂
Tom is a great storyteller.
Idk why tom gets me
His delivery is spot on...he pulls you into the stories so fully. 👍 this man is just comedic gold 🤣
Such a perfectly constructed story by Tom. He gives you everything in the first half that you need to know, gives you a hard laugh with the candy, and then completes it with the Andy Griffith part.
I so want this to be based on a true story (I really believe it is)
I love his voice.
Bruce Bruce is LEGENDARY so incredible no one in the crowd recognized his name?!!
Bruce Bruce is hands down my fav comic ever since seeing him on comic view 15 years ago
i love this guy great story teller .. funny as hell
4:28 hahaha awesome "That's Bruce Bruce status"
This guy delvers so smooth
I died when he called him aspbergers. 😂 yeah
Bruce Bruce is an awesome comedian!
Bruce Bruce being an Andy Griffith stan is like a Death Metal musician's number one influence being Aqua.
Bruce Bruce should do one of these
tom segura is the best comic on this show so far. please get more of him.
lol Tom said on the JRE that he was super jet-lagged and fell asleep in the green room before this.
That Tommy beard is on fleek
Can't wait till I can achieve such levels of beard
"I KNOW! I'VE BEEN SAYING THAT SHIT!" I had to rewind that part three times. Hilarious!
YYEEEEESSSSSSSSS. We needed Segura SO fucking badly. Hilarious as always.
When you meet other stand-up comics on the road, the potential of this new acquaintance is so big.
Like, this dude knows NONE of the stories that have been told to death in my circle of friends! I can tell my best stories again.
This means that your flight/drive situation has just become story time between two stand-up comics. Story time with hilarious people that you know can identify with each other? The absolute fucking best.
Not a stand-up comic here, just sat behind a couple of those on a bus once, and I have. NEVER. BEEN. SO. ENTERTAINED.
"They have the car that he used to sit in and you can sit in it too and you can touch it... that he used to touch" LMAO the stutter before that last part is fucking perfect
"touch shit that he used to touch" lol
Like Short said let Bruce Bruce hit it , mega legend 😂
Andy Griffith, Don Knotts, and little “Oppie”, who grew to be the Legend, Ron Howard. It was way before my time, but I watched every single episode as a child. Classic made by the Classics. “I love Lucy”, “3 Stooges”, “Little Rascals”, “Bewitched”, “I Dream of Jeanie”, etc.
Never would of thought Bruce Bruce was a Andy Griffith fan 🤷🏾♂️
This guy cracks me up every clip is hilarious.
It bothered me the crowd didnt know who Bruce Bruce is. Big props
to Tom for knowing him. Bruce Bruce is hilarious and a legend!
"All the skinny hos let Bruce Bruce hit it!" - Too Short
one of my new favs this guy
I met Andy Griffith once years and years ago. We were staying at a beach house on a private island (where he also happened to own one) and he came jogging by us on the beach one afternoon. Dude was super nice.
Love him but can't imagine him (or Don Knotts) ever jogging. 🤣
"No Aspergers!" 😂😂
This is too funny.. Bruce Bruce came into my job a few years ago(Truck Stop) and bought nothing but Candy and Soda. Super Cool Dude.
Man.....I have had a SHIT week....
But I've been binging Segura videos tonight....and I feel so so much better.
What's funny is....until tonight, I hadn't seen a single thing from him. I mean, I had absolutely _heard_ of him....but that's it.
Somehow he came into my life at precisely the right time. Thank you Tom.....from some random person you'll never know. You've really helped me feel better at a difficult time in my life....
BIKES!!!!!
6:37 I DOE I BEEN SAYIN DAT SHIH!
I also wanna thank Tom for standing up for Chris
Bruce Bruce is one of the best of all time.
I served Bruce Bruce and his family last night at the restaurant I work at. Was mostly unfamiliar with him but his name did sound vaguely familiar for some reason. My brother sent me this and it all clicked where I’ve heard of him before. Too bad I missed my opportunity to ask him about Andy Griffith 😂
Lol that's hilarious
@@CJ_YT. Update to this a year later… he came back to my work and I asked him how he felt about Andy Griffith his response was quote: “I love Andy Griffith. And let me tell you something; people need to know this: There were black people on Andy Griffith.” - mission accomplished boys 😂
BIKES!
One of his best stories in my opinion.
I still love this opening!!! Well done
Bruce Bruce the type of kid that takes candies from strangers.
Bruce Bruce is great! I'd love to meet him. Tom Segura is a funny mother fucker too though. Funniest comedian of all time for me goes to Patrice.
Patrice O'Neal is a legend do you watch Corey Holcomb
5150!!
Lintlikr1 The thing about Patrice was the 'funny' never stopped with him. Not just his stand up, but the hundreds of hours of radio appearances and stuff like that, he was a comedy genius. #CultOfBlackPhillipLivesOn
+Lintlikr1 Robin Williams dude
+Friedrich Nietzsche Oh man, we can all argue who the funniest person of all time is but no one can deny that Robin Williams was, damnit... IS absolutely one of a kind. Truly unique. I will miss that motherfucker til the day I die.
Bruce Bruce is hilarious!!! 👏🏾👍🏾
Still the funniest bit Bruce Bruce had was the OJ run in. "What's up Fat Bruce?" "Shit, it ain't nothing killa."
To be fair, Andy Griffith was a funny dude. He was a stand-up before his movies and TV shows, and he was pretty great.
I'm really enjoying Tom Segura recently
Everytime I meet or work with a comedian I fucking always love their quirkiness & how fucked up their life stories are. Best people to drink with.
I really like this guy. Good story telling.
(looks for episode #215)
How was it?
Facts wtf
@@TathD I just watched it. Opies learns piano. I have a feeling that segura simply made that up so bruce bruce would be asked about andy griffith by people. That's the joke
