I hate customs so much, I always get extract camped or killed right after I get the pocket watch or any other quest item
It can be a pain, you'll get through it!
And yet everyone says, "customs is perfect for beginners".
@@Sid0404 I think it's because beginner quests from Prapor push people there.
I prefer learning woods 1st because it is more spread out and has better loot.
It's so much better early wipe before chads have huge snipers with thermal scopes!
Get good then buddy map is to fun for scav kills and less then 70hrs new to the game

hey i have a question, what are your light settings? everything looks good and realistic but is still bright enough that you dont need a flashlight at night :O how? can you please link it or tell me? someone? XD
you can buy the key on the flea market its called the machinery key
If you are having g trouble what I did is found a place to lay low but depending on where you are you need to time it I got lucky and got a spawn by the bridge and ran into a little shope near it I wait till there's 5 mins left in raid depending on extract then I can run freely to it just be aware of scaves and bring food and water to last and a suppressed weapon to take out any scavs near

no matter my spawn there are always people in dorms and i get gunned down before i even think to get into the 3 story dorm
I get my key for that on scav runs

Night time might’ve been the way to go but now people are camping so hard with NV that you can’t even move around the map to do tasks. Hell, went completely naked and got head eyes as I was running across the river. This will make my 11th try in one sitting.
Update: I got it on the 11th try fully naked.

So I took your advice going night time. I got killed by AP-20 and SP-6 wielding chads before I set foot in dorms. My fault for starting late I guess

well, i accidently went back in as i thought i hadn't picked it up, checked again and it wasn't in the truck. So am i glitched??

keep in mind friends that daytime is usually easier later in the patch. Nightime is FILLED with nvg users so it may not be worth it going at night.
I have tried to do this at night. EVERYONE else is with night vision. Makes me perfect target. 7 times tried, 7 times killed and didint even see where i was shot. Peoples are camping and aiming to the doors of dorms.
Why should you not use the metal staircase?
People can hear you on metal a mile away
How did you figure this out? I've gotten like 100 hours in the game, 40+ of trying to get into dorms to find the watch all while its not even in dorms? I'm so confused.
Edit: How are you seeing anything at night? If i spawn in before 6am I cant see anything and have to take night vision in.
Try turning up your gamma a smidge on your nvidia control panel. That may help you see a little better at night. Practice makes perfect too and after a while you can start to tell where you are without really being able to see. Also check out the escape from Tarkov Wikipedia page, go there and search up whatever quest you’re on. You’ll get all sorts of detailed info there!

I hate this stupid pocket watch it’s cursed. I’ve died with it 16 TIMES. That’s not counting the times i couldn’t even make it to the truck. Worst quest ever

"Machinery Key" I literally say it as I'm grabbing it, also the name appears on the screen.
