In The Fall Guy, director David Leitch's latest film, stars Ryan Gosling (Barbie) and Emily Blunt (Oppenheimer) have been setting the trailers and sneak-peeks on fire with their charm and chemistry. In this interview with Collider's Steve Weintraub, their magnetism takes center stage as they quip about the iconic Alan Rickman (Die Hard), Steven Spielberg's (The Fabelmans) love for The Fall Guy, and their ducking crazy movie of the century.
Helmed by a stuntman-turned-filmmaker and based on the five-season television series in the '80s, The Fall Guy is a love story tucked neatly into an action-mystery. When Colt Seavers (Gosling) is down on his luck, an opportunity presents itself to come to the aid of his ex, director Jody Moreno (Blunt). In order to save her blockbuster, Colt will have to use his skills as a stuntperson to save the star of Jody's movie, Tom Ryder (Aaron Taylor-Johnson), and get to the bottom of a conspiracy.

Her mentioning the elevator made me think of 'The Nice Guys' where they watch the guy fall out the window and Ryan is shaking so bad.
Yes, and especially poignant given that the print on Emily's outfit for this interview could easily have been the inspiration for the Nice Guys promotional materials.

This is a GOOD interview because you keep the conversation grounded and engaging but still fun. Unfortunately, most interviews they have been doing are forcefully not serious with disposable sarcastic banter.

Great interview, really brought out the chemistry between Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt. I'm not long home from watching The Fall Guy in Sydney, Australia this afternoon. I thoroughly enjoyed the film - as did the rest of the school holiday audience (evidenced by bouts of laughter, howling and cheering). Fans of The Nice Guys and Gray Man should love it. It's important to point out that the final scene comes late in the credits, as a few people at my screening exited too soon.

I just come back from the movie theater from watching it and it was SO fun, amazing, funny. I laughed during the whole movie, it inspired me and I love the romantic story involving ghosting and resolving it. I'm so happy 😊
