I think there is some unintended bias going on here. And I also want to see the whole song.
Oh I feel it has always been intended. Simon made it known a few times in the past that he's not an fan an you can immediately tell he doesn't bother to listen. He only accepts these singers of this genre to make people think something he is not.
I mean that cocky little kid made it through twice I believe and he isn't even good, no vocal range whatsoever.

There's no doubt about that. For someone in the entertainment/sports industry he probably never makes the effort to expand his musical tastes and remains stagnant with whatever repetitive music he listens to.
