When Kirk gets the text that says, "It's perfect," I tear up a little. I love that they gave him that moment.
As much as I love this scene, am I the only one who was surprised to not have Sookie there? I know Melissa only had so much time to do her part in the revival, but come on!
The comfort you feel while watching Gilmore Girls is like no other show has ever made me feel. I re-watched it while I was pregnant with my daughter and watched the revival when I was nursing her after she was born and hopefully we can watch it together when she grows. I'm a single mom with my girl now.
Emily had such an amazing arc for the revival. With Richard dying, she put a lot of things into perspective. I also love how they made a running joke of her not being able to keep a maid in the OS but you see her caring for the maid and her family now. She had such a great story.
I love that they used the song that they first danced to at Liz's wedding for their wedding
I’m sad Jess wasn’t there... even though Luke had always loved Lorelai, Jess sort of pushed Luke to go after her.
I love how all of Miss Patty's dancers have all grown up <3
So jealous of those who have never experienced the masterpiece that is Gilmore Girls and will get to experience it for the first time.
I cried hard throughout this scene, especially the part with Emily and Richard's portrait. Beautiful.
As much as I love this, I still get upset that Emily wasn't there. Despite everything, we all know she would have loved to have been there, to see her only child happy and getting married.
To quote Rory... "I'm having one of those moments that everything is so perfect and so
I love that Michel is honestly smiling, he's truly her friend and he's happy for her, even if he won't admit that
I've never cried this much on a show before.
I love how the biggest smile you see on michels face is during this scene
The only thing missing for me was Richard Gilmore, RIP Edward Herrmann
I love this scene for many reasons! The music, the dancing, the magic, the lights, but also that Kirk actually seems mature and not so self centered, Emily seems more content, and Michele is actually smiling and happy for them. Great scene!
I literally sobbed at all the moments that they mentioned Ed Hermann and specially when Rory went back to the gilmore house to write. My heart ached.
there are two main things i love about this scene. they finally did it! they got married. and to see emily in a somewhat simple life, she still has her wealth but she is living in a sea side cabin taking care of her maid and that family, working at the museum and sitting outside after tucking them in with a glass of wine. it shows that she has really changed after the loss of richard but in a good way and i love it. i love this show and i cant stop loving it im so glad they gave us this.
Loved that they reused this song for this scene. I fell in love with it from Luke and Lorelei's dance together
