Everyone moved on, but I’m still here…♥️
This was so beautiful. But it should have happened during Season 6 instead of that disaster that was. Plus, what I hated about this was that Sookie and Emily were not there. It especially hurt the arc of Lorelie's and Emily's relationship. Did Lorelie learn nothing from getting married to Christopher without her mother? The best part of the revival was Emily coming into her own. But them not including her in the wedding killed it for me.
Only Kirk...
Rory is the worst hugger ever
This is so WILDLY unrealistic! I love how Luke is nothing more than a background prop in his own wedding and the everything is for and about HER (as usual). He works his ass off for her ALL the time and she literally has NEVER done ANYTHING for him; shes ALWAYS the recipient! Its SO one sided!
What is going on with Luke's hair?!?!?
Best ever musical ending for a series finale. The exact opposite of The Sopranos and Journey, blehhh!
I hate to be a killjoy, but I never liked Luke, and seeing them get married was upsetting. The rest of the show was great, except for these two getting married.
I am the exact opposite I hated her being with any one but Luke.
I hope Emily got to go to the wedding the next day. I felt so bad for her because it looked like she was left out of the whole thing again.😢
long overdue
I was really hoping to see them at the real wedding 😢
This scene just proves that sometimes there doesn't have to be words in order to communicate a message or feeling.I love Gilmore Girls so much and when I first saw this scene and even now I just cant help but cry. The revival was so good and special in so many ways.
This song is the song that played when they first shared a dance ❤
Can we talk about how Michele was there at the wedding but not Sookie?
LOVE THAT SCENE! The fact that she always adored snow, made it all specials when the writers decided that it would fall off the sky right after saying I DO to her longtime soulmate. Would have loved for her Little black dress to have been either white or creme white, but i'll get over it :-)
this song was perfect for this
jess, sookie and emily should've been there.
imagine the sadness the actors must feel knowing its the end of their show
I am probablly the only one who thinks its horrible , dressed in black and so casual, cant see anything wedding like 😢
Came to gilmore girls for the y2k nostalgia and because I had been pinning pictures of the house and town for years on pinterest without having ever seen the show and finally figured hey, I might like this, you know, for the aesthetic. Never did I imagine it would be literally life changing. I have laughed, I have sobbed. What a wonderful magical experience
THIS REVIVAL WAS A MASTERPIECE IDC WHAT YALL SAY 😭
Always been Luke, always😊
One of the best wedding decorations seen in television or movie. Crazy Rich Asians is another one.
Fun fact this song was played in lorelai and Luke's first date when they were dancing at Liz's wedding
Why did the acting get worse😢?
Soy lágrimas con esta escena
This was the best episode of AYITL. It felt Gilmore Girls ⭐
Even Emily's character changed drastically...
I love this song
I wish that they would confirm that the ceremony was private and then everyone else arrived to celebrate. We need to see the rest of the day. We need to see Rory’s baby. I want it to be a little boy named Richard. I want to see Emily be a grandmother. We didn’t get to see Richard walk Lorelai down the aisle. Please start filming more Gilmore girls, don’t wait any longer. Give the fans the closure they deserve.
I love when he pushes her on the ladder, the length he went for her.
This was first played at Liz & TJs wedding
Yes but it was the first song they ever danced to and realized there might be some feelings
I cry during this whole scene and I can’t stop it
I always get a hard feeling on my chest with these scene and now that I read Lauren´s book it makes me feel more.
Rewatching the entire series once again and realized this is the same song from TJ and Liz’s wedding from season 4! 🫶🏾💕😭
The music was perfect for the ending!
Why wasn't April there?
Finally 😍🙏
I am glad C.C. was not invited.
C.C.=Crazy Claudia (psychologist)
I just realized this is the same song they used for Liz & TJ’s wedding 😢
Okay we missed some small elements, but the place, the song - probably my fav from the whole show - without speaking, Emily and the portrait... I must admit I cried
this scene made me cry so hard 😭😭
No matter how many times I watch this sequence, I always cry. <3
I rewatched that video. It's been a long time since I've seen it and finished the series as well and its recent sequel. My heart broke at the very moment when Lorelai's mother, Emily, kisses Richard's small portrait painting. Knowing that even though Luke Danes and Lorelai's marriage is finally working out, we see here in the video clearly, the mother doesn't know how to express any reaction to the death of her husband/and actor-best friend off screen. She just sits there, devastated, not expressing a reaction. As they stand there. Having fun.
I love this as I waited this series & AYITL for this moment, but why was Emily not there 😭
What a like the most in this scene, is the part when they are dancing, the camera always focus on Lorelai.
I cried through this whole scene 🥲🥲🥲🥲
Still really sad they never made a final part of Rories pregnancy
It gives me a feeling of a real home.
who are the ppl in emily’s house?? lol
