  • Here I describe a simple method to balance tires. This method is for tires that are already mounted on hubs. This method is simple and quick.
    Where more precision is needed, cut the weights in half and apply.
    For rear or driven wheels, use the same method, but with the pulley/gear attached.
    The wheel weights I use are steel 1/4 oz. with adhesive backing. They can be found here:

    Hey dude. I learnt a really good trick last month. Balance the wheel un inflated first. Then turn the tyre on the rim to get the tyres heavy spot opposite the valve. Then inflate and balance. I’ve found a lot of times no balancing is then needed or very little weights required.

      Yep yep. That's a more detailed method. I encourage that when setting up new tires. This is just a quick method, as you see. I'm going to make a more detailed video on hubs and tires soon. There's a lot to go over.

      @@wiggpickle 👍 maybe include when the bearings are new and tight, or where to place the weights with a pulleyed wheel? I struggle sometimes with those.

    I know you've tons of sponsors but can you honestly answer what is your personal favorites for high powered eboards?
    - Bearings? Ceramics/Hybrids or does it matter that much?
    - Tires? 8" 200x50 sized tires for AT/Knobby like primos or T1's?
    - Hubs? particularly for wider contact patch for 8" tires?
    We all value your feedback. I'd love to team up w/ u in some capacity on making your own products as I know you've experienced tons of products available today. HL's High Performance Products. 2nd to none. Dare to join the next level.
    Got a nice ring to it;)

    It looks like your board got a steering dampener at the back. How does it do with turning? Can to do a video about that? I am interested in putting one on mine.

    • @wiggpickle
      @wiggpickle  Před 2 lety

      The damper doesn't limit truck movement, it only slows it down, so turning radius is the same. I reccomend getting your board setup properly fpr the speeds you want to achieve then adding the damper as insurance.
