    my tynee mini 3 pro arrive last friday and that was my first skateboard and never tried ride before.my first day ride is crazy becoz i crash 3 times and never give up.luckily i wear helmet knee and elbow pads.i realized and watch all videos that short board are not for the beginners so i ordered again a longboard the wowgo at2 + and coming this week.i really am excited.

      thanks for watching this video and welcome to the channel Vinny! Short boards are definitely more difficult to get used to and that's one of the reasons I chose the AT2+. Even after a year, I can say that I really still enjoy the board as a casual rider that just cruises around. I'm excited for you to get get on the AT2+. Let me know what you think when you get it!

  • @tasawarsaraf2573

    I ride a longboard myself (not electric) I think one thing you will need to get used to is the turning radius for a longboard itself is not as great as compared to your ebike or escooter. Also, a hidden philosophy for all new skateboarders/long boarders you will eventually fall . Having that fear of not falling will slow you down in your potential of riding this new electric longboard. I recommend looking into how to fall properly off a longboard and slowly let that fear go of falling so you can feel just as comfortable on your bike and scooter , and with each mistake you make you genuinely will become a better rider and more confident on your board. And keep the speed moderate going 20 mph on an electric longboard is not the same as going 20mph on an e-bike and escooter. Though some people don't take that advice cuz where is the fun in that :)

    • @eyebahnrides
      @eyebahnrides  Před rokem +1

      Thanks for the advice! I really appreciate the input of a long boarder. I'll definitely keep all of that in mind as I'm learning and becoming more comfortable with it. You're right about the turning radius. Its much larger than I anticipated and its going to take longer thank expected to become comfortable with those u-turns. I plan to be a more "chill carvey rider" so I don't see my self blasting it like I do my scooter (lol i say that now but we'll see!). My confidence is definitely growing as I put the miles in so I hope it's noticeable in the next video that I do!

    Nice toy Ivan! A bit scared of those scate boards and those Unicycle. The state board for the small wheels and the unicycle for the single wheel but looks like practice is paying off for you. Glad you liked it and keep enjoying it bro. Stay safe 🙏🏽

      @eyebahnrides  Před rokem +2

      Thanks Domingo! The board has been alot of fun and I look forward to getting it on the road soon! I think I'm going to wait until I have about 150+ miles on it before commuting just to make sure that I'm comfortable with it. Luckily, they come with AT (All Terrain 7 inch tires) and the flexible deck really helps it with the terrible rooads but my I haven't had to dodge a monstrous pothole while surrounded by cars, delivery people, and all the other commuters lol. I'm just taking my time and enjoying the process!

      Thanks for watching and that’s exactly how I was too lol. I had no interest until I saw this girl gracefully carving down Park Ave on her electric long board. I was like damnnnnn that looks like so much fun 😂. The tires are 7 inch pneumatics so they’re actually pretty good with the bumps. Paired with the flexible carbon/ maple deck and the flex battery design, it’s been amazingly comfortable on the rough NYC streets. Take your time and if the itch hits, these boards are well priced for the performance! I figured I can always upgrade to a monster in the future lol

      thanks for watching the video! Bro my legs have been shot the 2 days I've rode it lol. Because I had some memory card issues I'm actually going to be missing day 2 of the series so Episode 2 will likely resume with my day 3. But day really means 1 hour of riding lol.
      I know the shorter videos are easier to watch in one sitting compared to the longer "full ride" style videos, so I'm trying to do more of them. I'm going to reduce the full rides to once a month if I can and I'll try to feature each PEV atleast once a month. At this point, I feel like I want to make 2 videos a week but thats a massive time commitment that my work schedule can't support right now =(.

    • @eyebahnrides
      @eyebahnrides  Před rokem

      Thanks for watching the video, I'm glad you enjoyed it! I was a bit worried folks wouldn't like this style of content because I still have to refine the camera settings, audio levels, and (the new unexpectedly hard one) the camera angles! It's much easier on the scooter and bike because there's only 2 perspective. There were time's I wasn't even sure where to put the camera lol.
      Thanks for the advice! That's what I've read and have been told so far. There are huge parking lots near me but they're always so active lol so the streets were actually the safest options. I'll definitely stay geared up because I'm pretty OCD when it comes to safety lol, the only thing I may do as I get better is downgrade from a full face to a regular skate helmet if I'm just going to be cruising at lower speeds.

    @JB360_NYC Před rokem +1

    Ahh i miss esk8 lol...some tips i would give:
    - it helps if you go to your local park and practice turning around a large object. Helps with cornering and checking if you need to loosen or tighten your trucks.
    - braking works the same as scooters so definitely lean back when braking.
    -potholes and metal grates are your worst enemy lol. Avoid at all costs hehe.
    - lastly when you get comfortable leaning and turning, you can start carving which is super fun.
    Best of luck Ivan 🙌🏼

      come back to the dark side!!
      Thanks for the advice Jeff, I really appreciate it. I found a full basketball court in my area that I could do tight figure 8s in. I just need to either wake up early or do it at night because all these damn parks are always so damn busy lol. I actually switched to goofy on my scooter so that I can practice the braking lean and I'm trying to use my bars less! I'll keep that in mind with the potholes and metal lol.
      I can't wait to carve. That's the primary reason I got the board. I want to be chill and swaggy while I do those big surf like carves lol. Then I can be like that guy in the west coast that carries those giant light sticks and look like a Sith Lord on an Esk8😂

      Thanks Erock, I survived! I think my legs are much more sore on the esk8 than when I learned EUC. I never snowboarded but I "ski boarded" once lol. I used to ride a bit as a wee little teenager so I feel some of the muscle memory kicking in when I was riding.
      I was able to ride esk8 off the bat when I met with @DrewElia and it's been an easier learning curve in the beginning. It took be about 30 minutes of drills and 15 minutes of attempts to be able to push off and ride the V11. I think once I put my first 100 miles on the board, I'll be as good on it as I was with my V11 (it took me 100 miles to be comfortable riding the crazy mode on the v11). The only problem I've run into is they grip too much when I try to foot break. I almost did a split the other day when the sneakers bit into the ground!

    Try to set up your speed equal to your run speed in case you have to start running away from your board!

      Thanks for watching the video and welcome to the channel merweo! Thanks for the advice, I appreciate ya! I learned that the hard way a few weeks after the release of this video. I got a little too comfortable and a little too confident, so I ended up falling pretty hard lol.

    Keep in mind the faster you go the tighter the bushings should be as a newbie. Better to have to turn your board using your foot than getting speed wobbles at 25mph!
    BTW, did you know how to ride a manual non-powered board before hopping on an electric one?

    • @eyebahnrides

      Thanks for watching the video and welcome to the Channel Arrow1! Yup, my buddy Drew helped me tighten the trucks so that it was a bit stiffer. My biggest fear when starting was getting the speed wobbles lol. My biggest accident on my skateboard in highschool was because I took my board and rode it down a steep hill. I knew I messed up when it was wobbling half way through. I thought I could save it but it literally threw me off eventually.
      Prior to jumping onto this board, the last time I was on a skateboard was in high school (2004). It was a classic world industries setup from my local skate shop. I've actually never actually ridden a long board before lol.

      Thanks for answering. Will we ever see edited versions of the two hidden videos with the things that got them hidden left out?

    • @eyebahnrides
      @eyebahnrides  Před 9 měsíci

      @@arrow1414 The hidden videos are actually uploads of some of the current episodes that ran into an error during the upload process. There is a video that I'm working on that's scheduled to come out on 9/29. Even when I permanently deleted the videos from the channel, they still seem to still show up on the play list!
      Update: I just learned how to clean up those ghost videos so there shouldnt be any!

      Thanks for watching the video and welcome to the channel! It's been a few weeks now since I started learning how to ride and I'm a bit more comfortable now. I had my first major fall, which set me back a little bit, but I'm back at it trying to get better. Thank you for the advice! Every bit helps and I hope to be commuting with it in the next month. I have Episode 2 and 3 out already while episode 4 is planned to come out next week if you want to check them out!
