@@TmanRock9 you're confusing help and purchase. Russia has paid for everything. The United States and Britain began to participate only at the end of the war (let's leave aside the air micro-wars), when the Soviet troops were already marching victoriously - they decided to join the victory with little blood, rationally and a little disgusting, but politics happens that way, nothing personal Up to a million people died from repression, which is a lot, but unfortunately, after revolutions, the flywheel of repression is unwinding. It was the same with the French Revolution. Your numbers are ridiculous. 1 million is a lot, but there is no need to go crazy This man will remain his glory - he saved the Slavs, Jews, Gypsies, saved all non-white peoples of the world, destroyed European Nazism. What a deadly man Stalin, the man of steel, was. He's the dictators' dictator, the archetype of a tyrant. He sat up all night with lists of names, putting a cross beside those who were about to be executed and an X for those who were spared a little longer. It's estimated that he personally saw to the death of more than half a million people. On the final list was the name of Jesjov, "the bloody dwarf". He was the chief of Stalin's secret police NKVD and got his name for his stature and murderous personality. Stalin put a cross beside his name, called him into his office and accused him for the great purge, calling him a murderous swine, an enemy of the people and an agent of Germany. Jesjov knew better than to protest. He was taken to the notorious Ljubljanka prison, tortured and executed, just like he personally had tortured and shot lots of people. There's an estimated 1 million plus who were directly executed or died from the hardship in Gulag. At 66 years old, Stalin's enemies, real or imagined, were wiped out and he alone had all the power in the communist empire that covered one sixth of the world's landmass. There's a British film called "The Inner Circle" that I can recommend. But it wouldn't be fair not to commend the man for the industrialization of the Soviet Union. Without that, the western world had taken control over the commodities, particularly in Russia. Hitler wanted "Lebensraum" for the German people in the east at the expense of the Slav people he saw as "untermenschen", but who finally defeated him. The sacrifices it took for the Soviet people to industrialize their land, will perhaps forever shadow the end result. But without it, the USSR would have stood defenseless against the German armies. The political consequences of a German victory would simply have been unacceptable. Hitler through his armies out in an existential war that Russia had to win or perish. Stalin will remain a controversial person in every aspect of the word, held in awe by some and detested by others. Personally I can only point to the fact that he is legendary and his life's work remains until today. 🇸🇪♥️🇷🇺
A butcher on one side and a butcher on another. Then throw in Mao. What a sad, pathetic century...and yet, a lot of achievements and good also came out of it.
@@phillippalmer3124 Stalin's henchmen in the secret police, the Okhrana (Guard) killed every potential leader and every person with enough influence to organize a resistance against the regime. Don't forget that he chased Trotsky all over the world, until his agents finally found him in Mexico, where he was killed with an axe. Such was Stalin's paranoia that he personally saw to more than half a million people's death. He worked through the lists at night and said that he never slept as good on his couch as when he had exterminated his (real or perceived) enemies. Bulgakov, the author, has said that he got a phonecall from Stalin three o'clock in the morning that shook him. Who can blame him? Historians claim 1.5 million dead. Another 20 million died in WW2, so it's a big part of the Soviet Union's population killed right there. That and many more was left behind by the totalitarian ideologies of the 20th century. It's a challenge for every sound mind that there are people who still believe in these ideologies, despite that they have the facts. People was shot, gased, tortured and enslaved under horrendous circumstances, but it's not uncommon that people call themselves "socialists". No balanced person in the western world would present himself as a Nazi or a fascist, but the ideas are still around. The popular Ukranian militias, the Azov Regiment and the Kraken nationalists, celebrate the Ukranian SS openly and they wear the patches on their uniforms. It's easy to call these insane people politically confused, but it isn't that easy. I think that these ideologies are an expression of our most primitive sides, instead of just political views. Communism and Fascism are a nation's collective hate organised into political parties. That's why it's so hard to fight them. They will always come back in one or another form. Leaders like Stalin and Hitler knew how to exploit us. The terror was such as no one even thought of killing Mao. Hitler had an almost unreal luck when he survived his officers attempt. They were however a minority among the officers in the Wehrmacht, because Hitler was clever enough to have them swear to him personally, so an attack on him was an attack on Germany. The terror itself was enough to keep most people from attempting protests and uprisings and when it happened, it was cut down with extraordinary cruelty and sadism. That's the true nature of these ideologies and they are nurtured by the worst sides of man.
"I know that after my death a pile of rubbish will be heaped on my grave, but the wind of History will sooner or later sweep it away without mercy." -Joseph Stalin Comrade Stalin was a man who fought tirelessly for socialism and the rights of working people, who led the USSR through a period of unprecedented development and progress, who spearheaded the defeat of Nazism and fascism. They were either going to full on invade Japan in 1945 or the Russians we’re going to invade two different potions of poison to choose from yet they nuked them. Also to send a message to Russia to fuck off in a show of world dominance. The world went on wars raged but Vietnam was never nuked, they never dropped a nuke on North Korea in the 50s. And it’s funny how deep it is. When Japan surrendered in 1945 they surrendered Korea which the US and Russia split evenly between the north and south. Kinda like germany. Guess who North Korea supports in the Ukraine war? Guess who South Korea supports? Why is Germany so non desicive. Everything happening is a direct result of WWII. America used nukes and realized it’s something that should never be used again. These other countries are tired of being the little dogs I’m sure anyone reading this comment will probably see a mushroom cloud in their life. When the next nuke goes off it’s going to trigger an array of nukes being set off from many different locations at once the entire planet will burn. In other words if by chance Putin does launch a nuke instead of the 500 thousand deaths you got from Nagasaki and Hiroshima it’s going to be more like 90 million people die immediately in Europe alone. Most of the rest will die from radiation within the next few months. Back in 1945 no one had heard of an atomic bomb before. Now they’re everywhere and the average amount of 1.2 megatons in the B83 of today compared to the measly 15 kilotons in the two nukes dropped on Japan is a RIDICULOUS amount. 1.2 megatons = 1200 kilotons. He didn’t save all of Europe as it would have been unlikely for him to win if the western powers weren’t also at war with nazi Germany. Could russia really handle a few more million nazi soldiers pushing eastward?
This man is not greater than his sins, genocide was common in the USSR. Stain was a racist who routinely persecuted and murder the ethnic groups he didn’t like including the Jews. The total number of people he killed is anywhere from 15 to 30 million people.
@@TmanRock9 you're confusing help and purchase. Russia has paid for everything. The United States and Britain began to participate only at the end of the war (let's leave aside the air micro-wars), when the Soviet troops were already marching victoriously - they decided to join the victory with little blood, rationally and a little disgusting, but politics happens that way, nothing personal
Up to a million people died from repression, which is a lot, but unfortunately, after revolutions, the flywheel of repression is unwinding. It was the same with the French Revolution. Your numbers are ridiculous. 1 million is a lot, but there is no need to go crazy
This man will remain his glory - he saved the Slavs, Jews, Gypsies, saved all non-white peoples of the world, destroyed European Nazism. Bro Stalin looks like that one happy uncle.
Stalin looking at the camera like a souless man
What a deadly man Stalin, the man of steel, was. 🇸🇪♥️🇷🇺
He hit the 20 million mark before the German invasion in June 1941.
A butcher on one side and a butcher on another. Then throw in Mao. What a sad, pathetic century...and yet, a lot of achievements and good also came out of it.
Funny how people don't fight back.

Putin … hold these nukes
@@RoseFuneral Wait, was it Putin or Russia that dropped two nukes in Japan?
@@marcelo47588 The entire reason nukes even exist is because Einstein warned the U.S. that Hitler was in the process of creating them. Think about that. 80 times more powerful than fat man. Thus if he does indeed press that shiny red button.. he will go down in history… as the most…. Murderous… Fucktard… OF ALL TIME
