omfg... i went through the entire game not knowing about hazardous concotion or how to use those items.
63 hours into the game and just now realizing you can arrow over her medical concoction for harmful mixes

ooh, i didn’t know hazardous concoct was useful for damage! i’ve only been using it for debuffing/weakness coverage occasionally, but i’m definitely gonna try this out :)

That’s interesting. I never bothered to use her for anything besides giving my team bp. Too bad we can’t double up on those accessories. Everyone says turn based games are too easy and while they usually are this one way octapath 2 did well in not letting us use a new game plus to just get what ever item we wanted for all our characters. It makes us think at least a little bit of who we want to build around. However, I like Cassti too much as a support character to switch. Well, unless I want make use of the glitch on Ochette with the shark. Still a great video though. I was looking to see if we could do anything with the wind potency weapons and Cassti was the last person I’d think to put armsmaster on.
Damn, i didnt know depend on the weapon you have currently affects the skill damage. Good shit.

does switching weapon in the attack slot really do anything? i thought elemental damage automatically scales to your staff?
Yeah switching weapons makes the attack based off your currently held weapon so an elemental attack will typically be stronger holding a staff vs a sword for instance depending on the stat boosts each weapon gives
@@gatestohorror The only skill that takes into account the weapon you are holding is the Catapult, any other skill that don't mention a weapon, like Ochette's Latent or Ruinous kick, take the highest atk weapon. And magic uses the highest elem atk weapon. I'll have to test this out with Concoct, but I think it shouldn't matter at all.

@@gatestohorror it is, actually. In OT1 the magic damage take the highest elem atk from the weapons into consideration as well, all other skills take the weapon type it uses. Not sure on the Merchant's divine, tho.. can't remember how that one works (probably like magic, if it is magic)
5:34 What about the Mermaid Circlet? That has a high elemental attack at 65. Also higher defense at 55 and high elemental defense at 82.
Guessing an alternative to armsmaster would be merchant so you at least get 2/3 +wind weapons on, but you lose the staff slot so it will do way less damage
Did you farm an unholy amount of nuts to reach max elemental atk ? Casti has the 2nd lowest elemental atk at 99 after hikari
How much is a unholy amount?
Do you need to switch your weapon? Isn't Elem. Atk. the maximum of your weapons, like in the first game?

They all stack. Also elemental automatically draw out of the highest you have equipped, you don't have to switch to staff
Fang of ferocity is not effect concoct damage.
did you use nuts? ur level 60+ castti has higher stats than my lvl 72+ xD

If your using critical scope she will do 1 damage

Is there a way to do this without putting armsmaster on Cassti? There is only 1 Armsmaster slot and it is much more usefull on Hikari.
Armsmaster is useful on Agnea
Agnea is the best Armsmaster! Especially with a properly kitted out Learned Skills, it's wasted on Hikari.
