I am from the Balearic Islands in Spain and we always put a layer of grated tomato and some olive oil on the bread before we put the main ingredients to avoid dryness
I do love these simple Spanish sandwiches. While in Spain, I was surprised at how delicious just a few great ingredients on some excellent bread can be! Thanks again for more delicious, simple, and important these days, economical recipes!

I’m going to try it tonight using fresh albacore tuna instead of canned, half with Mayo half without, I’ll let you know how it goes
The sandwich with fried calamari looks soooo good. I would eat that every day if I could! This is similar to American Po’boy. Will definitely try it!

@@SpainonaFork I made the egg sandwich. It was so good and very filling. I have made quite a few of your recipes, they are all a hit. I am a vegetarian so I am glad many do not contain meat. I love the way you keep them simple and use ingredients that most of us already have in our pantries. Keep them coming.

Sobre el pan tostado se friega, se roza un diente de ajo hasta que deje su sabor y se roza o restriega o frega los "tomacons" que son esos tomates entre los cherry y los grandes. Ojala vea un video sobre este comentario y sepa que algo aporte a tu canal. Saludos !
Its funny because the most common thing here in Spain is just slice a piece of bread and put inside whatever cold meat or cheese we have in the fridge.
Albert, I have a question. For the first two bocadillos, could we spread some of the extra olive oil from the tuna onto the bread, and some mayo on the bread for the omelet? Maybe it's just my preference, but I think it makes the sandwiches eat better when the bread is less dry. Also, what's the chance you'll do a Salmorejo video?

This might be a stupid question, but after watching several of your videos Albert where you drain the tuna of the olive oil, I really wonder if you use that olive oil or if you discard it ? I guess you wouldnt want to heat it up, but maybe it can be used as a part of a salad dressing, or when making a dish involving tuna that needs to be drizzeled with some olive oil at the end, you could us it ?

Hello. My favorites would be the tune and then the calamari. I would add some kind of sauce or flavored mayo. They all looked great. Good eating right there no doubt 👍👍

Hailey Jason what’s funny is I never noticed that! We always go to the costas so there is a lot of seafood there. But, I do love some of the spanish oxtail recipes. I know Spaniards love their jamon but I find it very salty so I’m not as much of a fan of that as I am the seafood recipes anyways.

Too dry to eat. You need some type of sauce or maybe mayo, especially with tuna.
