The Tabernacle Choir and Orchestra at Temple Square, along with the Bells on Temple Square and the Gabriel Trumpet Ensemble, present a special Easter Concert entitled “He Is Risen: A Sacred Easter Presentation.” Conductor for the program is Mack Wilberg, with organists Richard Elliott and Brian Mathias.

The concert will focus on the joy, hope, and promise the Resurrection of the Savior Jesus Christ brings to the world. The presentation will feature a variety of sacred hymns and songs as well as readings of New Testament accounts of the Resurrection. The concert will be held at the Salt Lake Tabernacle on Friday, April 19 and Saturday, April 20 at 7:30 p.m.
Next year, the Tabernacle Choir and Orchestra at Temple Square will continue their biennial tradition of performing Handel’s Messiah on April 10-11, 2020. This Easter performance has occurred every two years since 2014 and is streamed live over the internet to audiences around the world.

Good morning with the Christian fire of Garching/Munich Bavaria, Germany and blessings of God to all members of the Mormon Taberacle choir. Christ is risen. He washed our sins away with his blood on the cross of Golgatha. He is risen out of the grave up I to our hearts to fullfill the Word. He spent us the joy of true faith in Him as our Saviour and redeemer. Amen

I have tried to not believe. The damaged world almost crumbles ; seeming to fall~as if the pandemic is beyond human comprehension of extinction...beyond hope of all saving. Then I remembered...the gentle comfort of the 23rd Psalm and how, as my own beloved earthly father lay dying ~I, seeking solace, had opened that tattered, old hospital Bible as it opened to it, without effort...God believed in us & His Blessed Son, Jesus, was our Redemptive Gift~of BELIEF~Atonement, and Victory~! Easter will come & with it's triumphant anniversary...glorious faith~Believe~!

I live alone in the year of my seventieth now finding myself with no human touch but with Christ alone, in this season of change. Love Divine All Loves Excelling at the 42.00 mark might be the most compelling work ever by the choir and Mack Wilberg. . During that song a family is shown at the 47.35 mark walking on a beach. That beach is Big Beach which is in the McKenna area of Maui. My sweet mother-in-law is Hawaiian , born in 1935 she grew up going to that beach. She told me the story that she and her friends went to Big Beach after Pearl Harbor to witness our incredible USA Marines train on that very beach for their heroic amphibious landings to follow throughout the Pacific. Lost In Wonder Love And Praise applies preeminently to Jesus, but it also applies to our troops from The Revolutionary War until now.
One amazing fact is 'He Is Risen!' He is risen indeed!

When I was younger and my family visited my Grandparents, my Grandfather would always be whistling or singing along with Music & The Spoken Word playing on his stereo.
