Over the years as an RLCS fan, I've seen the kickoff meta slowly evolve in pro Rocket League. For most of that time it was very standard and boring, but in this season of the RLCS, pro teams have started completely changing the way they look at kickoffs. Fake kickoffs, Spanish kickoffs, pinch kickoffs, and so much more. The meta has changed so fast and so suddenly after laying dormant for years. This is the story of the Rocket League Kickoff Meta. It's so good to see kickoff strategies finally taking hold in the game. It's the only set play in the game, so it makes total sense for teams to try and outsmart each other and get the immediate advantage. Great video!
