That alone is impressive enough to be talked about. I chose 5 of the most incredible times Rocket League pros broke world records and showcased them in a cinematic way so we can relive them all over again. Fun fact about that Veloce vs Vitality match :
At that time Vitality was already locked in the top 2 in league play. This match had no meaning for them EXCEPT for the individual awards.
Fairy Peak was pretty much already confirmed as top 1 scorer, howerer Alpha and Kaydop were both tied for assist, meaning the one that would get the most passes in this series would be awarded 1000$.
Just go watch it, it was hillarous seeing Alpha saving a shot / missing open net just to prevent Kaydop from getting the award lmao

14:51 I love how Turbo _personally_ denies Kaydop, former teammate turned foe, his 4th World Championship win by demoing him and preventing Kaydop from challenging Garrett's clear which led to it flying down field as a perfect pass to jstn, who scores.
Not only did Turbo show Kaydop that he won't be winning a World Championship without him, he also earned back the MVP medal he gave away to Kaydop before. Turbopolsa will forever be the GOAT.

whoever is curious, the fastest ever oal in a training pack is 214 kph by lmgis nemo. In a match is 212 by static and in freeplay its 212 by Maouki RL. they were all ground pinches.
Why mention training packs twice?

The coolest thing about the overtime between Rix and BS+ is that the record for longest game (and overtime) had been broken just two events before (Spring 1) by BDS and Galaxy Racer at 15:19 OT

A note in regards to the Version1/Liquid game, it set additional 3 more records than those 5, as far as what I keep track of for the RLCS. In Bo5 LAN, Version1 most saves in a series (75), BeastMode most score in a series (3,171) and BeastMode most saves in a series (24). It definitely set more, in terms of combining the stat totals between the two teams, but I don't track those.
Fairy Peak's record has since been beaten twice, but his is definitely the most impressive given the other two happened in OCE/SSA during early stages of events so it was a top team beating up on a really weak team in an already overall weaker region.
And yeah, there is no record keeping for fastest RLCS goal. It's possible to find out, but not something I can currently do myself. Something I plan to try and do in the future, though.
