Honestly, I appreciate the trend toward content creators in the plant community making the content they want to make. So many people in this community have other hobbies and passions that bring them joy, and could to others! We are multifaceted humans! 😂 I know that’s extremely tricky for those who were/are creating plant content full time, but I do genuinely appreciate and want to support people who decide to take the risk and shift gears to make the content that speaks to them. ❤
You say 'wonky', I say artisanal, uniquely beautiful and hand-made!!
Whoa! Holy beef bar Batman! That cactus area looks fabulous!!! I’m so jelly of your greenhouse too!! You is blessed girrr
I don’t see much “wonk” in the pots you made, they barely look handmade they’re so good. Really, be proud.
I CANNOT keep the krohniana alive to save my life
I’m at that moment now where I’m trying to enjoy what I already have too, instead of being on the hunt for grail list plants and spending too much money, care for the beautiful ones I already have
Oh Becca you did such a great job at all of your plant chores, and I always love seeing all of your beautiful plants. Thanks for sharing this great video have a beautiful and blessed rest of your day, sending love and hugs, bye!! 💜💜💜
I loved the rant lol and your so right I will never let this hobby go I need it as much as it need me 😊💚🌿
Oh my goodness yes your de la tanks soil is the absolute best for rooting hoya. I pretty much exclusively do that now for my hoya
i swear i WAIT for your videos! I think about what day it is at work and then come home and get so excited to see you uploaded!!!!
I love the wonky pots! I will go thrifting and look for the ones that are wonky 😂 I think it adds character to your plant styling 💖 Great video Becca 🤗
I love watching you! You have definitely helped me work plants into my life not my life around plants. So what they die, they come around again.
I love your mentality of growing what brings you joy and that's 100% why I love you as a creator! I'm trying to do the same thing (although Facebook plant purges are always testing me)
My husband and I talk often about the ebb and flow of our hobbies. And your website looks great!!!
Great video! And can I say I absolutely LOVE your necklace
I have a one leaf pterodactyl anthurium that didn't do anything for months and months and just in the last week or so she put out a brand new growth point! I have full confidence your chop and prop will be successful :)
Fun plant growth! ❤ love the green house content
Your monkey tail is to die forrr! So lush!
I agree with these comments and also think there was a huge shift in plant mentality once more viewers had to go back fully to work especially out of the home and like you said, plants are living things so it’s harder to sporadically jump back into here and there. I used to have a ton of fish tanks during lockdown and now I just have one and even considering getting rid of it because I’m busier than ever. People still love you!! Please keep making your current kinds of content
Congratulations on your new website 🎉🎈🎊🎈 I just took a peek at your website and from what I can see you did amazing work. Good for you!😊
Such good points about hobbies! Thanks for sharing ❤
I absolutely agree about the ebb and flow of hobbies. I haven’t crocheted in a long time and I’ve been making cute beachy bags again this summer. I love the plants I have, but I’ve let go of some that weren’t exciting me anymore and that helped a lot.
3:22 pock some holes in the soil using something pointy to loosen it up. If you can stick it in and move it a little so there will be more air in the soil. It will really help. If it was ina soft plastic pot I would suggest you to try to massage the pot a little and then leave it. That will really help. Even when you can't afford new soil this helps them stretch their roots more.
I enjoyed watching your 🌿 videos and also the nice mix you bring lately ✨
💚🍀🌿🌵💚
You are so beautiful, Becca 🥰🥰

Those Hoyas are looking amazing! I personally gravitate to your channel because of your mindset, but I have also been here since long before then. Also, my fiancé works in web development and he says your website looks fantastic! He was super impressed by the design you did.
“E” is for existential dread… 😂 yay

👍
I actually started to enjoy your content way more when you shifted your approach to plants. I don't like how consumptionism is encouraged in plant spaces on the internet. I feel like it's easy for people to excuse their addiction to buying and hoarding tendencies with plants because they are not really things per say. Anyway i think this is way healthier approach both for people and plants involved :D even tho it's "less viral" i do hope you inspire people to change their approach as well
I agree, I started watching this channel about 3 years ago. I love the change in content!
Very refreshing! Also, have you guys listened to her “Potted Together” podcast with planty friends Adam & Nicole? Soooo fun! I love it. I also listen to Adam’s Hoya podcast “Let’s Talk Hoya,” with some of his other friends. Planty people are so awesome.
Bank tellers are totally going away 😅 I’m sorry to hear that your channel has suffered bc it’s not “consume, consume, consume!” I feel like the plant tubers that started around the time I started collecting are on the same path/point in our journey. Constant collecting just isn’t sustainable. Unless you run a plant shop 😅
