Excellent video. Succinct, informative and all one wants to see and hear. I did slightly chuckle to myself, the way you routinely reeled off the ID,s of each Bus was reminiscent to me of the commentary of a Beauty Pageant Host. Well, perhaps not far off the truth or perhaps I need some sort of therapy lol. They are things of beauty after all . Well done Peter I enjoyed v much
Brilliant event and video here. A huge amount of work must have gone into this very successful day on these 2 interesting routes, and the public really took to it.
Great video Peter! A nice selection of classic buses. I gotta say it looks much more pleasant seeing a heritage bus rally with so many classic buses like these. Wish I could’ve gone :(
The bus is a vessel of travel and time, A place where strangers can sit and unwind. It takes us from home to work and play, And carries us through the night and day. The wheels turn and the engine roars, As we journey on to distant shores. The windows reveal a world outside, As we watch the passing scenery glide. The seats are filled with people of all kinds, Some talk and laugh, while others unwind. The bus is a place where stories are told, Of love and loss, of young and old. As we ride along, we feel the sway, Of the bus as it carries us on our way. We hear the hum of the tires on the road, As the bus carries us to our abode. And when we arrive at our destination, We step off the bus with anticipation. For the journey may be long and hard, But the bus is a place where memories are made and stories are told, and for that we are grateful and glad.
Thankful I was born 87 and caught the last wind of Metros titans etc in late 90s early 2000, doing the lords work with bringing buses like these back to the roads. Probably some old LT boys behind the London Bus Museum
