Nouman: It’s impossible to do gegenpressing for full 90 minutes
Liverpool 2nd leg again barca: hold my Anfield
What he forgot is jurgen klopp has turned his players into machines.they are super fit
Exactly what i thought
And the pressing is controlled now, Liverpool can let you think a pass is available to make, but you are the target, for the press. The will block a pass from one side to let you pass the ball to the other side of the field then corner you
Lmao the reason for Barca's defeat was because barca was focused on park the bus
The only time they actually attacked was in the last few mins after the 4th
Legend Valverde for a reason
@@xxsreexx3640 True words....Arthur would have definitely helped Barca, but Rakitic and Vidal messed it all up.
Great video. Intuitively I knew Liverpool were pressing less aggressively this season, but it is really helpful to have someone explain it so thoughtfully.
This is a high quality channel. Watched some of your videos, they're all deep in tactical aspects. Keep it up mate.
Intelligent Nouman.
Love watching your videos.
Thanks.
I really appreciate.
Woooow, never knew football is this technical. Also, you are very smart, keep it up!!👏🏿👏🏿
Nice explanation tactical video, well said and very interesting. Will look for part 2 and 3, and can't wait your video about Barcelona tactics. Great video man.
Absolutely love this. I've just recently started noticing a lot of the tactical aspects of the game when watching live thanks to your videos. Keep it up and as a Chelsea supporter, I'd love to see a tactical analysis vid on Sarri's Chelsea as comprehensive as this one.
Crazy analysis. Fools are those who think players are tired when the front three don't "hard press". This season mainly , against the big teams we have used positional pressing and that's why the team is building on it. I can see them kill teams new year onwards if the positional press is perfected . Thanks for the video !!
🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌
Lost for words.
And great job on the Car Radio.
Nouman I have learnt a lot from you buddy, thanks man.
Klopp's Liverpool's pressing reminds me of 1974 dutch team which reached the finals & lost to west Germany. Though Liverpool's is much more subdued than the ruthlessly chaotic dutch defense. But still the best in the current age.
Excellent video as always
Part 2 not available yet?
Yes, i'm also realize that, Liverpool did the positional Pressing now like a lot, it's more mature for me, hope Klopp find the balance and bring back our lit front three
Appreciate the video mate, i'm waiting the next one mate
Good job man, I'm sure you will still end up having 100 thousands of subscribers ☺
Amazing Video!Love and support from a Chinese fan
Thank you, well explained
Some dimwits will dislike this video despite Nouman's effort to teach better football.
Kudos to you brother. Your videos are awesome.
You did a good job. Keep it up
Great Video!!
very well explained mate
Good analyse for sure. In half-time we show the team video footage of the game showing them very small but important details how to exploit the opponent, sometimes this is the key. Enough information to change the game, not too much because usually you can not keep to much information at once.
amazing explanation ...... thanks for your videos .....
Really loved it mate, could yo make one about the difference between a CF and a Cam please?
really appreciate your videos man. 👌
if you replace the written info graphics with voice, it would be even more attractive.
study the playing pattern of your opponent and see when they are most vulnerable and press during that period. spot on sir.
In 17-18 season, by the end of the season, Liverpool always seemed exhausted at the PL games after a champions league game. In 18-19, it's a completely different story.
Lots of things to learn from you. Hats off to your analysis. DEAR, A SUGGESTION PLEASE MAKE SOME VIDEOS FOR DIFFERENT DIFFERENT FORMATIONS FOR EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES TO KIDS AND COACHES AS YOU HAVE ANALYSIED LOTS OF MATCHES
After I saw the title of the video I was sure you would praise Napoli's tactics because I thought they broke our pressing really easy and maybe its the first time that I see a team cope with our pressing so good. They used lobed balls to bypass Mane/Salah press and they achieved that by having their fullbacks really wide and almost touching the line. This ofc is just my view of that game,I could be wrong cause we also didnt played really well.
excellent video mate well I.pressed, feel like I learned something haha cheers
i dont know you bro but my respect for u nouman
Boa análise!
Am subscribing because you are a genious
It should be noted that just as the team with the ball needs CDs with good ball skills Liverpool also need particular style of attackers otherwise the press doesn't work. That's why firmino is so essential. His football brain!! Not many world class players fit into klopp's system. Football IQ isn't noticed by most fans. Jorginho is a genius who told Rudiger to push forward to expose Liverpool, Jorginho saw the tactics. Tactics need certain player IQs.
Can you please put up links for part 2 and 3 of this video , very interesting stuff.
Liverpools two pressing systems can cause real trouble for any teams, good analysis.
Nice video Nouman
Kloop is indeed a tactical coach
Please can u do a video like this on Pep Guardiola
I will really appreciate that
Thnx bro for golden information
Still very difficult.. U need quality player with exceptional passing skill to break liverpool press
Then you the likes of busquets, iniesta, kroos, modric, messi and rakatic
Also , ball conduction and dribbling are very useful. Much more against the hard press, man vs man he has described.
Clearly, after the break you must be able to read the other team’s shifting movements and transmit the ball to your right mate. Fast and with precision. And he must exploit the space and time his team is gaining.
There a lot a lot of variables. Easy or very complicated depends on the involved people’s quality
@@yogeshghurburrun7450 de bruyne
no problem when u have alexander arnold, wjinaldum, roberston and bench like oxlade, origi etc..

Nice Video keep on going 👍👍👍👍👍👍✌️🤘🤙
Thanks so much
who else felt goosebumps ,,,the hip hop piano beat is so beautiful; would love to know its name 😍😍
You are the best👏👏👏👏
Like Pep Guardiola mention after the game Klopp is the best manager in the creating high counter press playing. He do it naturally and made a hard time for every team including the best team of europe. The only way to stop it is to addapt like Zidane, Sarri, Ancelotti or you just park the bus like Mourinho did and by passed their midfielder with long ball to the final third position
Klopp is a manager that forced guardiola into changing his tactics and playing somewhat less open, and man city fans were then like he can adapt when last season they were what if we lost, guardiola is true to his football mentality
But you forgot to mention one thing in this pressing style. It's that the 4-3-3 formation helps liverpool to press any opponent player between the lines from both the directions(multi directional press when opponents are in between Liverpool's lines). And it's something very hard to counter. But u have made a very good video. Please kindly the mention the music's name.
Admire your work Nouman ! I have a request. Please do a video of Liverpool last season vs current season and explain why they couldn't perform like last season. Thanks in Advance ! :)
Please make a video on chelsea's pressing style
Langsung paham ngab, thanx
You are a boss 😍
Liverpool's main weakness imo is time. The season is a long period and pressing that hard every game will tire the players or get injured easily. I guess that's why klopp's team always fails at the last hurdle
Clant Pax they have a team full of quality subtitution for squad-rotation. I’m sure they’ll get some trophies this year
The problem isn´t the intense pressing. In the end it is the depth of the squad. Currently I agree with your point that It will be hard for them in the last period of the season because of the weak substitution they have.
Agree
Very important is how the defensive line is able to stay up and keep the team in 30-40 meters
The team who will do a better work on individual offside, shifting and reciprocal covering will dominate next years. Expecially with VAR presence
and at the end Liverpool won CL and will win more this and the next years. So I cannot see a weakness ;)
it is clear from his time at dortmund too that if teams can switch play to the opposite flank (long balls) ..that is where they can hit klopp's side hard. In the early days at lfc too..that is why the smaller teams had more success cos they play more long balls. Now, like he said towards the end, our game and tactics are more controlled and more opportunistic. We dont run around for 90 mins and we have better squad rotation options to deal with different types of pressing and passing needed to ensure the opposition does not gain any advantage.
If the press was that easy to beat.. teams would have figured it out by now.. pep after years of being one of the finest tacticians, still cant find a way through klopp and opted to 'defend' at anfield recently. Point is.. it is not unbeatable.. but it is very very hard even if you practice day in and day out for weeks and months together to beat the press.. so we have a chance at the title this year ;)
mate, you predicted it damn right!
Yeah a year later and you didn't do too bad did ya lol
Waooh bro thanks alot
Spurs and city also presses,so it just depends on which team does it better as well as which team can negate the pressing better.
nice one
You could use how Napoli defeated us. With their 2 DMs who can carry the ball up front... That was the perfect break down of Liverpool
Exactly 👏🏾👏🏾
What is the app or software you use for highlighting the soccer field for game analysis?
3yr later liverpool pressing still works.
Thanks. How can a team break the hard pressing? Do we need more players near the CB?
How do Liverpool press against a back 3 or back 5 ??
Your tactical analysis are very good but can u do one for whats wrong with Barcelona. Plz plz plz
Theres nothing wrong with barcelona now
The extreme amount of high press allows for Liverpool to maintain a constant stream of intense pressure, forcing the opposition to force the ball into a negative position, or make a mistake that can cost them possession. However, by successfully utilizing long balls and successful positioning, it is possible to punish Liverpool for their high press, and hence begin a counter attack.
Klopp is a beast
just one word INSIGHTFUL
How do u enjoy watching football and still recognise such things.
Can anyone tell me the background music used in this video. I like it a lot.
i'm looking forward to watch your analyzing about chelsea vs southampton, please make it..
To break that hard press can we introduce a Target man at the game thn play a long balls to him when the gk is also included in the press. Thn catch them in transitions using pacy wingers. Is it possible??? Plss reply
Thanks dude, but I couldn't see the other parts. Could you please put them to comments.
just a thought, won't 3-2-2-3 be used against liverpool. the 3 forwards pressing the 3 backs and 2 dm means they can pass the long ball to 2 far end mids lm or rm since robertson is in the middle.and then 3 attacking options.
Nice music bro....
Can you do a video about, what going wrong with Real Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern Munich all together?
I made a video on Real Madrid last week. It's available on the channel
Add Manchester United to the list.
@@fernandopizarrovillagarcia6992 Why? It's just lump the ball to Lukaku.
Theres nothing wrong with barcelona were top of the league also in the ucl
Newbie here. What is the positional diagonal mean that he was referring to @ 3:33?
Please Part 2 to be released soon
Another way to overcome this press would be to play a 4 man midfield. One midfielder should drop deep during the build up to give a numerical advantage. A player with exceptional stamina and ball retention and ball rotation is the best for doing that.
That way even without good ball playing CBs, any team could manage Liverpool.
Great
Kloppo's plan :
A : Pressing
B : Pressing
Pressing all the way!!!
Clueless plastic gloryhunter with zero football knowledge if you think klopp teams are all about pressing ..Lmao
@@frannydarko2698 its a joke ffs
its actually not that hard if you're fearless because beautyness is just behind the fear
Nouman please explain how to break the "hard press"
Good
To win against Liverpool press you need to play with 2 or 3 players in every level. Example 2 or 3 dm, 2 cm and very good Wingers
Can you make napoli vs liverpool analysis. I think napoli were the better side in that game and liverpool didn't even have shots on target.
Yeah and we did. They have 1 shot on target on a must win game at Anfield.
I think you have to distinguish pressing and marking strategies. If players try to catch the ball from the opponents who have the ball on his feet we can say it is pressing. If the players are getting closer to opponent who does not has the ball on his foot then we can say it is marking. I saw in the video that Liverpool players are doing pressing and marking together. But pressing consumes much of energy and get all the player tired. So it is not sustainable. It is possible to finish the fuel earlier than 90 min. That is a risk.
Nouman, what do you think about promoting Camacho to first team in order to deal with the creativity problem at midfield?
this kind of strategy require insane amount of stamina
The more you pass the more you are prone to error, the more counter pressing will be effective, that's why tiki taka don't work against counter pressing.
Less number of quick long passes are more effective, you need solid defence and good counter attack to defeat counter pressing.
whats the name of melody ?
Football is the game full of tactics
Klopp's Dortmund & Liverpool... they intentionally lost the ball so that they can counter press you... they let you hold the ball in order to force you to make mistake over and over again until you are exhausted with the intense counter pressing... there's no Number10 or playmaker there's even no need of a creative playmaker like Coutinho... it just a wall of 5 players (Arnold-Henderson-Fabinho-Keita-Robertson) losing the ball and stealing it back over and over again swiftly pumping the ball forwards for Salah, Firmino & Mane and trying to score goals. When they get corners, free-kicks it become even more than dangerous... it is actually so frustrating to watch when you're not a Lpool fans
how to get full match video plz replay
Make another video of sarri ball
Jurgen Press💪💪
@Nouman, why always about Liverpool?
analyis genius
klop did say this season the pressing would be more disciplined
can anyone named the track???
it's good bro but even aggressive pressing can be broken
Came here again for the music
Theres so many different aspects to his pressing game the way i see it. Against madrid in the CL final they waited till madrid got to the halfway mark before pressing, against most teams they play a high defensive line and force mistakes, then the final against Tottenham, Liverpool let them have the ball and pressed them high and forced tot to play long.... Im no expert but i see different ways that Klopp plays the press.
that is very correct klopp is no fool to repeat one n the same thing
we play this press in NPL and still haven't met a team who can beat us
