Musima 25K guitar - 1970s East Germay (GDR)

- made in the GDR starting in 1974, the "25" series of guitars was introduced after the consolidation of all GDR luthiers and manufacturers into Musima VEB as the sole manufacturer of guitars in East Germany from then on. The 25K model was the "Les Paul" of the line. "25" stands for the 25th anniversary of the founding of the GDR (1949), whereas the "K" means likely "Kurz" (short) or "Kinder" (kids) model, as this is a shortscale guitar with a scale of 620mm.

I bought one of these on ebay a week or so ago and I'm waiting for it. This demo helped me make up my mind, so thanks. I came back to listen to it in anticipation of the guitar showing up. I found a guy playing Turkish March on in on another video too. It sounds like a really good guitar to me.

@@williamlinden5540 I got it. I tested the pickups by touching them with a metal screw and got a signal, so they work, but I haven't put on strings because the tuners it came with have a string hole that's so low to the headstock that it's a pain to get the strings on. I decided to replace the tuners, but I haven't gotten around to doing it yet.

Гриф очень удобный, гитарка супер была когда то..
I found out about this company a few months ago and I've just been fascinated since. I would have thought it would be easier to find one where I live (Berlin) but most of the ones on reverb seem to be in the Ukraine and France. Reverb is good but if anyone knows a better place where I can get one it would be much appreciated.
check our German ebay (ebay.de) regularly, and also kleinanzeigen.de. That's where some show up, most of them in a very very poor state though.

What amp do you use?
it's the Fender Princeton Reverb Reissue that you can see there. Simply recorded with the mic from the camera.
