Mixer Envy so badly. Have installed these and they are the best product for the cost out there. Intuitive, easy to work with, workflow, routing and EQ are all top notch, and it SOUNDS good. Add the Dpack and you are set( and don't forget the GX4816 and a Dante card f you need to move things around quick between networks). Buy this!
I would suggest the step down from the Avantis, the SQ series. The 5,6, and 7 are a 48 input mixer with 12 mono/stereo mixes. The difference between the 5,6, and 7 is just local I/O count, fader count, and amount of user defined buttons/knobs. $4k-$6.6k
Only a bad carpenter blames his tools... you are clowns. Churches can buy 5 X32 consoles vs ONE avantis - which has no I/O btw, so make that 6/7 consoles...after having to buy the GX snake head.... oh the deep processing ( the cost of another x32 console)
The X32 isn't in the same universe as the Avantis. That's why they cost so much more, and the X32 sounds like ass. The M32 is worth the added cost over the X32 for the preamps alone.
@@jamescarter8311 a little story for you... owner of the digico distributor (and self proclaimed audiophile) compared an x32 to an sd series console in a blind test... he picked the x32 twice out of 3 times... wanted to stop playing that game. I’m not saying it a better sounding desk, but that its a better value for 99% of the users out there, especially when it doesn’t matter. Houses of worship especially when funds should be feeding poor people, not upping their console game.

What you recommend though for a venue that A doesn’t need 64 channels and B doesn’t have $13-$15k to spend on a digital console?

The right mixer depends entirely on your needs, but the SQ series is amazing.
