- During World War II and between 1939 and 1945, thousands of Polish people exiled to Siberia's cold camps and some of them forced to be refugees in different countries around the world, including Iran (Persia).
Very good film. Thank you for your hard work! And a huge thanks to the Iranians for the open hearts and the welcoming of Polish citizens!
Greetings from Poland!
I paused on each picture to see if I could see my father, aunt and grandmother in the faces without any luck. While it's a shame our countries are not friendly to each other, I hold no ill will to the people. The Persian people were the only ones that accepted my family throughout their long journey from Siberia. My father had nothing but good things to say about the Iranian people. God Bless from the U.S.
Hello from Iran
Hello again from the US! On behalf of my father's family I wish to extend a heartfelt "Thank You" to your people. As I said earlier, the only relief they found on their journey was with the Persia (as my father called them) people. Thank you again and God bless you all!!👏✌✌✌@@irani_az_kermanshah
@@markyapp I also love Polish people. I have lived in Krakow for one year. And I found them so lovely.
My warm greetings to your family.
❤️❤️❤️❤️
Whoever helped the most helpless deserves the medal. Poles will never forget that. Iranians showed their heart to strangers. Now Pôles showed heart to refugees.
Thank you so much for this well-researched video. I remember when I was young and growing up in Iran we had family Polish & German Jewish family friends which we regularly had meals with. Please do another video about German Jews going to Iran both during & after the WW2. Thank you & keep up the good work. 🙏🏼🙌
Awesome and very well done reporting. Thanks
There are reports of Iranian students studying in Ukrainian universities who tried to flee to Poland after recent Russian invasion, but they were treated very badly by Polish border authorities. Preventing them to enter Poland, while they allowed Ukrainians with open arms. A few of the Iranian students have died in the process. Shame on this world.
This is why you never help europeans
I know. What poor memories the Poles have.
I m really sorry to hear. it must be been the authorities because ordinary Poles wouldn't have done it.
fake news
@@TheBadaczit’s true , they broke my nephew arms just because Mullah support Russian, can not believe some country doing that to some young student who is running away from war ,
Thanks for the memories ❤️
Nice, Thanks.
❤❤❤
These refugees were only in Persia for a short time. All financed by the Polish government in London. Almost every Pole was then sent to Palestine. They were thankful for the help but were not a financial burden on Persia.
Very informative. The soviets acted as barbaric as their Nazi counterparts.
@jalehjoubine) don't compare apples to oranges
The Russians were no saints, but they did not murder people on such a massive scale as the Germans
😍😍😍Love them all
We are grateful to Iran. It is still an unpaid debt
Czy mieszkaja jeszcze polacy w Iranie
Tak, część z nich poślubiła Irańczyków i została tutaj
