- More than 10 minutes of outtakes from the Pink Panther movies with Peter Sellers. I edited these together from many different tv-shows. Some of them have never been put on youtube and many of them I've put on youtube a few years ago. However, this is the definitive video with all outtakes I've found so far. I'll make a second part when I find other ones.

After many hours of consideration, there is an actor who has what it takes to recreate Chief Inspector Clouseau. Tony Shaloub could pull it off. Or, Maybe the guy would played the Soup Nazi.
The Steve Martin version was horrible
No matter how many times I see this clip, it never fails to make me laugh. Peter Sellers was a compulsive giggler.
Peter Sellers was a very unique and beyond hilarious actor. No one can ever replace his genius in comedy. Boy was that man freaking funny!

One has to wonder how they ever finished the film with all of the outbursts of laughter. Every time I see Peter in anything, it's is so terrible to know that he's been gone so long. A true genius.
It's like with any other studio recordings; you do it again and again, until you're satisfied with the outcome

Wise decision, I began watching Steve Martin play the role and had to turn it off less than 10 mins in.
Nobody has come close to sellers,what a talent he was, grew up watching him and still laugh at him now,

Fantastically talented man, who fought so many demons in his personal life. He was one of the greatest ever chat show guests along with David Niven. Left this life far too early,but his wonderful talent is still there for us to watch when we need to laugh to brighten up a bad day. R.I.P Peter, thanks for those great laughter making scenes.

My dad took me to every Peter Sellers film when I was a kid. Peter was one in a trillion guy! All these years latter his films still make me laugh my ass off. You can tell he loved making people laugh and was happy to play the fool to send people to the floor laughing.
Hard to believe it's been more than 40 years since he died... a one of a kind comic genius.
So right, incredibly I think the best was yet to come.
Peter Sellers was a marvellous actor. He should have gotten an oscar for his performances in Dr. Strangelove.

Peter Sellers always cracks me up every time I watch this... My gosh he was such a funny comic and those awesome voices get me every time... The last clip in this just shows how easy that the guys totally lost it, such a wonderful gem to watch again.
Sellers' legacy is so associated now with his personal difficulties, it is nice to see him just cutting up and having fun.
To see Robert Loggia lose it several times with a fart joke is priceless, having Peter Sellers around makes anything funnier.

Peter Sellers was naturally gifted to make you laugh, he was a pure genius. Steve Martin is no where in comparison to Peter Sellers, his reenactment as Inspector Clouseau was a "Slap in the face" to Peter Sellers and to the Pink Panther movie itself.
Steve Martin is a fine comedian but there was no need to do any Pink Panthers without Peter Sellers. He is the only Clouseau

AND others, it seems all my favorite actors have passed away: Guy Williams, Tyrone Power, Bing Crosby, Fred Astaire, Yul Brenner, George Reeves... THESE are the GREATS. I would rather watch a movie or TV show with these guys in it than a movie with that idiot Johnny Derp (Depp) in it ANY time. It's no contest.

Comedies are the hardest to film because you have to not laugh at what is hilarious!
Peter sellers, in his Parkinson interview, said how Blake Edwards kept all of the outtakes from the Panther movies -
and used to play them at his parties to amuse his close friends.
Blake E obviously knew that even the outtakes of a genius are special.
There must be lots of these gems still around.

Saw an interview with Dyan Cannon years ago, and she said that her Pink Panther movies took 6 months longer to make because she could not stop laughing. These great outtakes, Thanks.

I never saw these before and they are really surprising and awesome. I remember watching this as a boy many (many!) years ago and laughing uproariously. I remember being in awe how Peter Sellers could always maintain his calm cool stoic demeanor. Seeing these, of course I now realize that those gags had him cracking up as well! Awesome.

Oh man, that was awesome. Great job compiling all these outtakes. They really should have put them together like this on the DVDs. That last one in the elevator was the best. 20 takes and they still couldn't get through the fat sound without cracking up. LOL

Peter Sellers was in another league within comedy movies. He was a genius in comedy. Very talented in his craft. I miss his presence in motion picture.. I believe the most funny movie with Sellers was "The Party" .You can see it here on Y.T.
