As a trans person myself, I have a hard time understanding caitlyn and her version of her story. I am trans, I have a lot of trans friends and an ex partner whom I dated for years who is trans. I have never seen myself or any of my trans friends have complete personality changes like caitlyn did? It’s like she’s a completely different person and even talks about “Bruce” in past tense which I find super weird. I don’t talk about myself before transitioning as a different person because I have always been me, just looked different. I often wonder if Caitlin has some sort of dissociative personality disorder. It’s not my place to dissect, analyze or diagnose but I do just have a lot of questions and wonders. It’s hard for me to understand caitlyn. It’s almost like she became a caricature of what a “woman” is?? Very painfully stereotypical American Californian woman?? Very catty, plastic, fake, gaudy?? Nothing like what she was like before transitioning??? Idk

She may look like she controls the household and knows all the gossip but when it comes to the really heavy hitting important shit it just flies right by her. I mean she literally profited off of her own daughter's personal sex tape that was leaked. She coerced Kim into selling her integrity. She's not the best mom lmao. Even if he told her at one point she probably didn't register it because it didn't suit her narrative she had in her own mind about their marriage and her life. I always remember the episode where Caitlyn's son tried having a heartfelt conversation with her and Caitlyn ( at the time ) Bruce, shot him right down and his son just shut up like it was a normal thing . I cannot get my head around the fact that Caitlyn has one eye that doesn't close properly and one of the most appalling lip jobs I've ever seen. And she has access to the best plastic surgeons in the world.

Very true. I think she’s stuck with her masculine characteristics. She has a male athlete’s frame, big shoulders, neck, hands and feet, a hulking, ungraceful gait, and the same masculine mannerisms and speech patterns as pre transition Bruce (big exception would be the distracting effect of her lip injections on how she enunciates while speaking)1. All of which is perfectly fine as long as she’s happy in her own skin. However, the combination of her very masculine characteristics with her style of dress and make up do give the impression of “a man dressing up as a woman” rather than “a woman”. Add to those challenges the complexity of “aging while female” in this country and I find it even more amazing that Caitlyn finally seems to be content with her gender expression.
