in this month's Emblem Banner pretty sure Veyle won't be in it since shes in the Bottom 8 AHR's banner.
I think armors are overdue a shake up. They’re easily in the worst spot right now. I think they need to make more specialized offensive armors outside the Edelgard niche. I could also see them adding a fighter skill that gives Laguz Friend levels of damage too

As some who's favourite FE is Echoes, i really hope we get a good unit within the next year, we're starving
My favorite part of this last few days was finishing up my +10 Askr this last Legendary banner. I ended up with 2 extra Hortensias and a +2 Gullveig. Currently I have +19 merges in Light and +20 merges in Astra. Each month closer to the end game of AR-O.
As a galeforce enjoyer I'd say more actions doesn't make the team better. If your units can't kill a tank who cares if you can hit him three times or six. I run my duo sharena with no quarter and never felt like she needs an extra action. There's one so many units to take down on an ar-d. I'd say there is a point where those just become more useful on duels.
In Arena I threw Summer Hrid out in range for Sharena...she did barely any damage to him with each time she kept on going back to attack him LMAO (he had ATK/DEF Clash 4, so her moving 4 spots really screwed with her).Like yeah, your GaleForcer doesn't really matter if they can't kill what they're attacking.
I hope it's Hector for the emblem unit this month!
Love the podcast! I like how much I have to think when I play this game, although sometimes it gives me a headache 😅😅

The thing that irks me about BoL4 is its lack of unit restrictions.
I have a love/hate relationship with BoL. I think it was necessary to knock burn down a peg or two, but I wish BoL didn't buff Ike as much it did (and I'm an Ike user myself). I think having it work like a drive, but not on the carrier itself would have made it more balanced by forcing you to choose who you keep close. Maybe that doesn't make much of a difference in SD, but in AR you don't often get to keep more than one unit in a 2 tile range, specially against the better defenses that will threaten at least 5 lanes (think the omnipresent Spring Breeze Cav/Igrene line). I think the shift into giving offense so much power stems from IS realizing that the more casual of the playerbase (and therefore the overwhelming majority of it) are more frustrated by not being able to win on offense than by getting hit on defense, and them wanting to keep AR from becoming a barren wasteland (comparatively speaking) like SD.
DTM is laughing now but just wait till Emblem Celica ruins heroes with cross map warping

I prefere largely a melt damage meta than this thing...
Not in my house 😅 it's toxic and overtuned, but imo nothing was worse than the units that erase your entire hp bar before you can react.
@@CASantos you can play around very powerfull offensive unit, but not against unkillable tank...
So realistically BOL4 is more problematic than any burn damage effect in the game

You guys missed some key points about Summer Nerthuz:
1) She gives special jump before 1st hit in combat(rally spectrum) to any ally who is centered in 3 rows or 3 colums around her, wich would be almost all the map in AR.
2) If the unit getting said support has a 3 CD special, the unit gets a 100% DR piercing.
3) Regarding point 1, if, for whatever reason you have more than one of her in the map and an ally gets this support, the special jump stacks, so a -2 special jump before 1st combat (cool idea for a defense team).
So, if you follow all this and have, for example, a BSharena with Astra (3CD Special with her slaying) and use Askr or any other means or pulsing her down to 1, shell trigger Astra on her very 1st hit. I tested this out and she can 1 shot Pestblem Ike, wich is kinda impressive.
I fail to see how Hrid is a bad unit that "only is useful by inflicting frozen" with people liking to dog on without even having/using him? A LOT of arena and AR matches. He can tank Duo Sharena everytime / can survive Desert Altina's special and do a huge dent in her in return, and basically same with Emblem Ike. This is all from his unpiercable DR REALLY putting in work with no limit, and his Def being stacked unbelievably high.
He can even keep bonfire on, he doesn't need to change his special against enemies with pierceable DR because his damage output is EXTREMELY high to circumvent that.
I really hope they don't move more into the breath of life 4 direction because things dying to fast is alot less problematic than things not dying for the game health. If everything dies than you can use your favorite old heroes and have them do work where as unkillable will be highly restriced (if its not than the game has huge huge issues that will kill the game) and have to use the one unkillable unit or be out of luck.

He's honestly really good in SD for me so far. I think we all just have powercreep brain, and when something doesn't release as the new worst thing ever made, it's "bad" lol. Just wish he set his water tiles easier.
He can be quite tough, and very much usable
He isn't that bad, certain people like to doom post when a units weapon seems generic and not Ike or Micaiah levels.

My hot take is I like the cast more too
I just like my fun lovely slice of life tropes more than my trauma riddled students tbh
Engage is worse than 3H, but Fates is the best gameplay in the series

How was that arden showcase a scam showcase? He just had asrk support aside from hrid
I mean in general the showcase was bad because no one would really ever do this. Some people were dogging on Hrid in general because they saw Arden no doing anything when its like....Arden can't damage crap lol. Like a better showcase would be like with Wyvern Rift Rosado stacking or just any other uni with high DEF/ Mid-SPD/ and high damage potential.
I like Legendary Corrin better than EIke because he is omnitanking in a far healthier way by limiting threats with his water and warp negation as opposed to Ike being a near killable monster that heals everything back up post combat. I didnt pull him so I dont know how it works in practice but its definitely a much better direction to take than making another Shut Your Brain Off Omnitank.
Also I think BoL4 is much needed, not because of burn but because of how toxic Fatal Smoke is when combined with that free damage, although having the skill heal off all burn damage for free is too far but so was having burn be uncapped to be fair.
I'm kinda disappointed with Summer Gullveig tbh. I was hoping to use her as an upgrade to brave Gullveig, but Summer misses so many kills that Brave manages. She is fantastic as a galeforce follow up (and in non-pvp modes) though, but its hard to fit in extra units into teams. (Initiator+Velouria+bonus+3 mythics.)
Even having swtiched out her prf special for an AoE, she struggles with e.g. EIke and Myrrh.
PS. I'm trying out an AoE Sharena and AoE SGullveig in 1 ARD team with Embla, and that can deal with almost anything. (But I can only run it with a bonus mythic unit)
I still dont have brave, so it's a Win for me, i have Summer instead
