In my 20s, when I told a guy I'm gay and he didn't believe me, I used to say "Pull down your pants and you'll find out if I'm really gay" LOL
that's what I said to my best friend. he still doesn't believe me!

My first boyfriend outed me after I told him specifically not to. And now half of my old friends hate me because I'm bisexual. For some reason being bisexual is weird and gross.

I was so deep in the closet, I didn’t even know that there WAS a closet. If I didn’t allow myself to acknowledge having any sexual feelings at all, I could stave off the inevitable collision between my straight identity and the reality of what sorts of bodily interactions I most fantasize about. I first “made the acquaintance of my own hand” in my freshman dorm in college, took my first baby streps towards coming out in my junior year, and finally did the ol’ NSFW the spring of senior year. I’m in my 50s, been out since dinosaurs roamed the earth, but I’m still working on fully embracing my truth.

I know that pain. :( I came out too them after highschool, they dont like to hangout with me anymore. We still talk, just dont hang. An Ive made some friends along the way. An my mom already knew lmao in middle school!

I was 11 and got into a 2hr argument with my dad trying to force him to bring me to the hospital because I thought I was broken. All he said was "baby you are perfectly fine, and the neighbor girl is very cute.. do you want pasta for dinner!?"

Coming Out stories are always my favorite. So cool about ur gay uncle. I have 2 sets of fraternal twin nephews (my sis went the scientific way). So I always wonder if any of them will "be gay / come out" when they grow up. I'd be the gay uncle. how crazy is that whole idea! By then they should at least be cool with gay relatives, even if they're not.
Your s8t guy friends dumping you and having to eat lunch alone is heart breaking. That would be tough for anyone, especially for a young person in high school. But as the saying goes, it gets better. I'm ancient old but have binged watched your videos all night and into this morning. You have been such great therapy as I remembered how alone I felt all those many years ago. I didn't realize until watching your videos how those memories were still hurtful in my mind. Thank you for sharing.
I quit HS when my being gay was becoming more and more noticeable, like when I’m becoming more aware of the sexual things in life. I became a complete loner and “mysterious” as some said I was for more than a year.. then I moved to America.. none of my family knew for a while, but whenever I met new people, I would always tell them the nickname, Lance, that I decided to start using, and that I was gay af.. I mean new country, new life, you know? And I knew I’d be staying here, I might as well be truthful to myself. I was 18 then. Almost 10 years now. I’m enjoying life here, but I’ve completely lost contact with most of the people I grew up with back home, especially my school friends.

@@rqrjq4iari4 hey man. So sorry to hear. Yeah it sucks even in 2022 especially depending on where you live. I got lucky and moved to LA when i did. Its more accepting here. But yeah it’ll get you in trouble here and there but thats isolated and it can be remedied with a lot of ways.. but for sure, focus and finish your school. 4 years is only 4 years and there’s TONS of good shit waiting for you after school. You may lose people, and it will be sad, but you will gain the best ones along the way. If your circle starts to get smaller, remember the people who leaves are making space for the ones who will love and support you. Chin up and carry on.. if you dont feel safe or just dislike the area you live in, get your diploma and start fresh at a different city. I sincerely wish you the best and all the successes, but I’m pretty sure you will earn your successes anyway. :) let the bad and sad times come and go. They dont stay forever.

I came out the day of my brother’s funeral, and much later than you. Worked out great. Have been with my husband for 20yrs next month. Likely won’t see 21st anniversary because I’m terminal, but still a hell of a ride. My only regret in life is not coming out in HS.
I was outted to my whole school in 7th grade. Ever since been socially distant, afraid to go out, never had a boyfriend or first date, suffer from ptsd, depression, anxiety, suicidal thoughts, etc

My whole family was close when I was growing up. I had 2 gay great uncles (both of my grandmother’s brothers) that my mom was rly close to but my mom still wasn’t accepting for a few years and I went through hell and back until she finally stopped being homophobic towards me 🥲

I never really came out throughout highschool never had a gf over those years, after highschool starting dating guys keep in mind no one knew my gf and I guess they caught on that I was gay,then one day I brought my older bf to meet my mom and after that it became a norm to visit my mom.i never had that conversation about my sexuality to anyone but it was kinda obvious that I'm gay
