I hope you go back and read new comments on old vids. You can die 50 times as long as your rift points remain intact and you come under PAR. In options, you can click par on and see the timer for every level. I am surprised that the archers worked. I tried them the 1st time and lost badly. The tower , SHIFT+4, can be used to maze, place wall traps (blades, shocks, grinders, push), the bottom can be use for ceiling traps (gravity, crusher, the walloping one, swinging mace, butterfly, etc) and it makes more sense laying down tar, spike, brimstone in single tile on the towers. the more damage effects an orc has before it dies, the better combo you get and more coin you get. Therefore the towers for all those traps and effects. Use the top for archers (lol) siege weapons. I personally maze them and use the walls to farm out the kills for the traps and finish them with the balista.
Found it simple to do a mixture of group of archers with the catapult. I used a similar method with the barricades and flip traps but found upgraded archers with fire arrows really useful. Was a fun level
Hate to say I didn't even watch the entire video and perfected it 12:30 under par. Great stuff. I had the idea to shut one lane down but was always getting my archers blown up by the dynamite, don't know why that wasn't much of a factor when I did it this way though.

OMD3 doesn't remove rift points when you die regardless of when you die or how you die.

The towers are actually actually great. You can place archers on top with wall and ceiling traps.
I'm so disapointed, Orcs Must Die 2 looks and feels better :S
