So the Soundcore Boom 2 Plus is a very impressive speaker cause it gets very loud and it has a ton of bass a while being relatively small. The Soundcore Boom 2 Plus is so impressive, it actually does a great job of keeping up with the Big Boys like the JBL Boombox 3 and Sony ULT Field 7… and it really demolishes their smaller counterparts like the JBL Xtreme 3 and Sony XG300. JBL isn't the loudest, but has the clearest sound of them.
That matters a lot when using a speaker outside. You have to be able to hear it.
It also has a longer battery life & is also swappable.
I was thinking about the EXTREME 4. The 3 is better inside while plugged in near a wall.
For me it's:
1. JBL
2. Sony
3. Soundcore
For me i really like sonys warm sound so for me sony, soundcore, jbl
Xtreme 3 wins here I think. It has less bass and volume but is much clearer and the bass is deeper and less 'boomy' as well as being like half the size of the Boom 2+ which makes all the difference for most people as the Xtreme 3 fits in a bag. It is also quite cheap now as the Xtreme 4 has been out for a good few months (in the UK at least)
The 3 is better for indoor use while being plugged in & placed near a wall to get maximum bass response.
The 4 is better for outdoor use getting 70 watts in battery mode & produces a crisper,cleaner sound with more upper bass as opposed to low bass which the 3 provides. The 4 also has a longer battery life of 24 hrs as well.
JBL wins here. Clear, balanced, open sound.
Soundcore was distorting really badly and sounded boomy.
Sony sounded muffled and boxy.
Sony is not muflled
I have the sony and using the eqq. Is not muffled. I am very happy whit it. Also viewing movies it sound pretty good.

He said, he won't be getting it because 1000 is really old at this point so the ROI will be low.
There is plenty of comparisons on yt between the Ultimate and the 1000 and the general consensus is that Ultimate is pretty much an improvement in every way.
Listening on phone speakers jbl sounded better but the moment i put headphones on i liked soundcore more than jbl

in my country Jbl party box club 120 and Lg XL7S is available at same price, which one should i choose, (in my case i would always prefer quality over loudness and prefer Deep and rumbling bass , the bass which can you know rumble your whole house even at low volume) can you please help me to choose..?
Dude, this is like choosing between fiat punto and porsche carrera GT. Partybox 120 is the only choice here.

@@chamber6634 I'm not sure about loudness between these two, but I know that PB 120 sound quality is unmatched for the price and the bass is quite deep as well.

Sound quality is still great and the louder/bassier capabilities along with the ability to charge other devices in a pinch are big selling points :)
How easy does the Boom 2 Plus dent (Especially the front grill) ?

I listened this on Sony XG500... Jbl xtreme3 and sony xg300 overall sounds better than soundcore boom2+

Xg 300 is the most balanced
megabase on XG300 is much worse than Livesound, no idea why everybody tests XG300 with megabase
Yeah, I have the xg300 and I can say the livesound and using the eqq of SONY MUSIC CENTER is the best option. The mega bass isn't so bad, it retains almost the middle and highs.... Almost
I used custom EQ for my XG300 and sounds great.
