Link to speakers in the description, as well as my Storefront. Notes to mention: The Boom 2 Plus seems to be a bit stronger in mid bass, but the Rave Party 2 seems to deliver a little lower in range. Rave Party 2 can also be oriented horizontally with the 4 bumper pads located on one side of the speaker.
Great, I have two party 2 and I thought the boom 2 was going to be stronger, but I was surprised that it wasn't, I'll stick with my party 2, thanks for the video
Glad it was helpful.
Hmm very very interesting, thanks for this, I'm honestly suprised at how good the rave party 2 sounds and it's louder with better lights, they both sound good but I'm surprised they didn't make it so the motion boom 2 plus outperformed the rave party 2, very interesting and I guess you do get the water proof on the boom 2 plus which is nice
Yeah, the Rave Party 2 is a bit different style of speaker, more of a small party style speaker. It's only IPX4 water rated and it's rear ported. It also has a mic jack and is quite a bit heavier than the Boom 2 Plus.
Thanks for the review! This is exactly what I was looking for as i was about to buy a boom 2 Plus on amazon prime day. I'm sticking with my Party 2 and my original boom plus!
Jay,try rave party 2 vs wking x20.
its a real shame seeing the lack of improvement from the Rave Party 2 to the Boom 2 Plus. I do find use for each of mine though, the Rave is definitely suitable for outdoors more and the Boom has a bit nicer of a sound for indoors.
have you tried the new firmware
@@jacobdavidson9752 I have, I'm @AudioFroggy 🤫
I have the original rave party and the rave party 2 when i connect them together it sounds awesome
Which of these two speakers has the best sound quality? 🤔 Do these loudspeakers distort the audio? 🤔
Perfect, thanks for the video
Glad you liked it!
I would like to hear horizontal image of Boom 2. Thank you for the content.
I'm not sure what you mean. The Boom 2 Plus is playing horizontally.😊
@@JaysStraightUpReviews Sorry I mean Rave Party:)
They need to do a firmware update. All the unpaid reviews reporting no low bass. All mid bass.
Compared to some of its competitors like the Blast and X20, the bass isn't on par. I'm not sure any firmware update is going to change that.
@@JaysStraightUpReviews A firmware update isn't going to change the Fb of the PRs, which Alan reported as being around 50 Hz. They won't provide much output below that.
@@Grommet2007correct.
@@JaysStraightUpReviewsthe drivers look really underpowered though i think they might be able to get just a little bit more out of it
@@jacobdavidson9752They can. I pushed mine to the physical limits using some external EQing and in low to mid volume I had it pushing deep bass like the JBL Encore.
What would be the bassiest speaker the same size as the mifa wildbox would it be the soundcore boom 2 because my wildbox has that rattling issue and i want to replace it with somethimg else. And does the boom 2 have more bass then the wildbox?
Did you watch my video related to the rattling issue with the Wildbox?
@@JaysStraightUpReviewsI can't be bothered to fix it and don't want to buy another wildbox I'm looking for something that is close to the same size and has the most bass would it be the boom 2? I saw in your video that the boom 2 has more bass then the wildbox so I'm wondering if it has the most bass for that size because the wildbox used to be the bass king.
@@Jordan-du6fu if you don't mind spending another $130 rather than a relatively easy fix on the Wildbox, then the Boom 2 is probably your best best for a similar speaker. www.amazon.com/dp/B0CQ53RVTW?ref=t_ac_view_request_product_image&campaignId=amzn1.campaign.2TTOI2ZM9AR07&linkCode=tr1&tag=mixmasterice-20&linkId=amzn1.campaign.2TTOI2ZM9AR07_1716464944874
some say the Brane X or Devialet Mania has the most bass but its for the high price. In between is maybe Bose SoundMax and JBl Boombox 3 opinion. The Boom 2 is my fave over the Boom 2 Plus
could you please share you're EQ settings with us. Have my boom 2 now and don't exactly know how to get the best sound out of it.
Well the Boom 2 Plus just recently got a firmware update which did change the sound signature a bit, adding a little more lower bass. Be sure to update your speaker and experiment with the app EQ to your preference.
I had the Rave Neo and returned it because it was overly bright and shrill to my ears. Does the Rave Party 2 handle highs better than the Neo?
The first Neo or the Neo 2? The Neo 2 you have the Soundcore app to adjust the sound via custom EQ.
Vs xtreme 4 ?
Custom EQ test for most of us who don't use custom EQ. Come on jay! At least do both if you're gonna be testing with custom EQ. It's the reason i didn't watch this video
Man oh man......can't please everybody I've done some other videos with the Boom 2 Plus in Soundcore Signature EQ, so check those out. That out of the box EQ isn't very good, so it's odd that you would intentionally listen to a $250 speaker in it's 💩 EQ. That's like making a spaghetti dinner and refusing to use any spices, knowing it will make it taste much better. Come on, Daniel Yogo. 😂
@@JaysStraightUpReviews alright jay😅
Can you share your eq?@@JaysStraightUpReviews
that soundcore logo is so ugly lol
I've seen worse. I promise if you close your eyes you won;t see it and your ears won't know any different. 😜
