  • TikTok says it will challenge in court an "unconstitutional" law that could result in it being sold or banned in the United States.
President Biden has signed into law a bill which gives the social media platform's Chinese owner, ByteDance, nine months to divest the app or it will be blocked in the US.
The law has been introduced because of concerns TikTok might share user data with the Chinese government - claims it has always denied.

I'm concerned about Google's growing monopoly and its recent terms and conditions that suggest users can simply "leave their platform" if they disagree. This overlooks Google's pervasive presence across mobile operating systems, online services, and advertising.
Google's Android and Apple's iOS dominate the mobile OS market, limiting consumer choice and competition. Almost every third-party service has some connection to Google, giving it unprecedented control over the digital ecosystem.
The idea that users can easily leave Google's platform ignores the reality of its dominance and the lack of viable alternatives. This highlights the urgent need to break up Google to promote competition, transparency, and consumer choice.
Breaking up Google would address antitrust concerns and foster a more competitive digital landscape. It's time to ensure a vibrant and diverse digital economy that benefits everyone, not just a few tech giants.

These companies are massive and dominant because they are the best at what they do. There might not be any good alternatives to CZcams, but it’s not Google’s fault every other video sharing site is just terrible.
You can argue that given their sizes, they can afford better R&D and develop a better product, but it’s still a better product. These companies didn’t pop into existence with billions of dollars. We shouldn’t be punishing the successful for being successful.
Granted being so early to their industries, timing gave them an advantage, but they made their investments at the right time and it paid off.
If you want a change, make a change. Stop using services you don’t like. Buy yourself a flip phone built in the early 2000s and stop supporting the companies you feel are already too big. Better yet, buy a cheap off brand smart phone and support alternatives. If you aren’t willing to deal with a slow and buggy off-brand OS to support potential competition, then that’s you not sticking to your principles. That’s just wanting the best out there and complaining that it’s made by the people in the position to do it best.
You don’t NEED any services Google provides. It’s not food, water, shelter, or air.

So I have this problem with CZcams music and their lack of safety online, this is the situation..
CZcams Music, particularly when used in a child-friendly setting.
      Despite taking the following precautions:
      Using an age-restricted account
      Playing from a private playlist
      Turning off music suggestions
      Setting the playlist to repeat
Selecting soothing music excluding content from "The Book of Mormon"Inappropriate content, specifically "Hasa Diga Eebowai" from "The Book of Mormon," was played to my 19-month-old child, on multiple occurrences.
Even if you download the playlist and cast across to a Google mini, it still happens.
This incident raises significant questions about the reliability and appropriateness of CZcams Music's content filtering and selection mechanisms. It is alarming that despite these safeguards, the platform can still select and play content that is clearly not suitable for a young child.
The ongoing email correspondence with Google Support over the past 10 months has reached 70+ emails without a satisfactory resolution, further highlighting the severity and complexity of this issue.
      Thanks for your time.... cheers
