Amazing tutorial very helpful 👏🏾
Glad it was helpful!
Hey, just a quick question as this needs to be done on mine is there a certain way or angle or whatever fhst it goes or just back in the spot it comes from thanks ( hooe it makes sense lol)
I love you so much!!! You're my new hero and I'm a subscriber now. I need to replace a battery sense detect 6-pin FPC connector clip on a MacBook Pro motherboard and it looks very similar to what you did in this video. I'm not sure if I need to take any special precautions with a connector clip vs a connector, but I'm going to give it the old college try. Thanks again!
Thats amazing
Not exactly what I'm searching for though..
I have a galaxy note 10 plus fpc cables from the amoled screen with some pins damaged or best to say several lines do not reach the pins there's a gap now
I must've brushed them while cleaning with a tooth brush and alcohol..
Is it possible to use different fpc? As long as same pins? Or should I use the fpc on same phone?
Where's the link?
I am curious on how yo prevent that the hot air gun melts the connector plastic, since it is plastic and has lower melting point than the usual solder
I've found that flux not only helps with the solder but it also shields the plastic from melting.
@@MobileSentrix mmmmm mine hasnt been helpful in that regard, any recommendations for someone living in the EU?
Thanks 👍
can a damaged fpc connector make the device not power on and charge? or is it another hardware component that failed. or even a software glitch after updates?
Of course it can.. it depends on what FPC connector is damaged. It could be the same issue my old iPhone had, which was a bad battery FPC connector! I rushed the battery replacement I was tryna do and ended up damaging the FPC that the battery connects to on the logic board. So now the iPhone doesn’t wanna turn on, and of course the battery’s flex cable won’t even connect on to the logic board because of the damage.. so it basically can’t sit properly! But if you haven’t opened up the phone and tried changing something, then chances are it’s not a bad FPC connector. Good luck!
Anyone know on a Samsung galaxy A14 5g what power or finger sensor button ribbon cable i would need for this as it has completely come off phone also the plastic which the power actually is on phone when attached how do i attach as thefe is literally nothing no buttons underneath or metal bits if that makes sense sorry 😅 it looks like a z shape
