I don’t blame Dame for missing shots per se. Sometimes that just a slump and bad luck. But, I do blame Dame for forcing passes and not shooting with confidence. That’s on him. Being a shooter, you need to have a short memory and keep shooting. “Shooters shoot.”

He doesnt take the same shots that he used to, he is passing more, being more passive and when he figures that he needs to do something, he does what he is not uses or practices to. Smaller guys often are. Ya think Steph Curry is so much better a defender. It's just foolish to be asking a 6'2" dude who is already expending a ton of energy on offense and playmaking to also be a great defender. Yeah, he's no holiday, but holiday ain't got an offensive switch like Dame too. Bucks just wasn't a good fit for Dame, said it from the beginning. Miami was the perfect fit.

The Bucks completely understand that they would be getting weaker on defense by getting Dame. They were just expected for the offensive benefits to outweigh and negatives and it hasn't. Also, teams are fully aware of which players are adding value to the defense. It doesn't take a trained eye to see who is communicating and active on defense. A quick look at film will tell you who is in position and who is helping properly.

That’s cool but they struggled scoring, Khris can only get you 20 and Jrue isn’t a 2 way player, idk if you been watching but Giannis barely contests shots in early quarters, and Brooke struggles to rebound, no way a 7’ should avg less than 5 rebounds per game but for some reason Brook does so that’s a lack of effort

I’m a Bucks fan. People a lot of emphasis on trading for Jrue. We also lost Jevon Carter, Wesley Matthews, who were our best perimeter defenders. Defense is kryptonite right now. It’s a personnel issue. Dame being Dame and Giannis being Giannis isn’t gonna be enough without being able to stop the other team
Well said, losing Jrue was tough in itself. Also, Dame is going through a divorce but still showing up to work. He hasn’t been playing to his standards. Bucks lost a lot and gained some. Hopefully by the playoffs, he will be better

Mark Jackson would’ve been way better coach for the bucks. They need that warrior system where Giannis can be Draymond and Lillard can be Steph Middleton play the Klay Thompson role. They could even play the same system that the Orlando Magic used to play with Dwight but Giannis don’t post up.

Dame has to be better. The numbers look good, 25-6-4, but if he is putting up closer to 30 as the second option, I don’t know how the bucks wouldn’t be the best team in the NBA. Dame seems to be trying to fit in and not step on any toes, but in reality he was brought in there to be DAME. I’d like him ti do a Kyrie in Brooklyn role when he was playing with KD/Harden. It's weird how now everyone is praising Grayson Allen's defense. It certainly wasn't like that when he was on the team...
(And Beasley has actually been playing pretty great defense as of late. It might be affecting his shooting, but Dame, Bobby, Pat and Cam are definitely their weakest links in that area (as far as experienced players go).)
