Twister front seat on-ride HD POV Gröna Lund Grona Lund

  • Check out this major feat in engineering. How did the Gravity Group and Gröna Lund managed to fit in so much coaster into such a small space? There's 1,575 feet of track crammed in and on top of itself with the Jetline Schwarzkopf coaster diving in and out of there too.
    Gröna Lund is located in Stockholm, Sweden.
    This is the exact same video as the Twister 3D video we posted for those that cannot view the 3D version on their phone or tablet. Here is the link to the 3D video we posted: • Twister 3D front seat ...

  • @mickesmanymovies
    @mickesmanymovies Před 7 lety +15

    This is a really nice addition to Gröna Lunds small collection of thrill rides.
    However, Gröna Lunds biggest problem is space! The park has water on two of its sides, and non rentable/purchasable/buildable areas on its two other sides, so it has literally the same finite space that it has had for many years. It can't grow anymore and can therefore not ADD attractions, it can only replace...
    And as far as roller coasters go, with Jet Line, Vilda Musen and now Twister all intertwined in each other I think they have reached their limit on coasters, unless they start tearing other things down.
    I love Gröna Lund, and it is what you would call my "home park", being born and raised in Stockholm. But as much as I love it, as far as amusements parks in Sweden go, it cannot beat Gothenburgs Liseberg. It doesn't even come close!

    • @sannauurasmaa8242
      @sannauurasmaa8242 Před 7 lety +1

      Mikael Karlsson some of the rides are on docks on the water. I suppose they could build another one? Or just move restaurants and shops there?

    • @mickesmanymovies
      @mickesmanymovies Před 7 lety

      Yes, you're right. The docks are, relatively speaking, quite new.
      I guess they could move some of the restaurants there, to fit one or two more rides inside the park, still wouldn't be anything bigger than a carousel-like structure though.
      I do not however think that they'll ever get permission to expand further out into the water.

    Sooo... I got on this ride just by myself last summer. I had some trouble to find the cue but I got there. Nobody wanted to come with me so I got to sit in the front with no one sitting beside me. Now you should remember that i had to go to the toilet but i didn't have enough time to do it. So i sat on the seat and i pulled the restain down. The crew checked that everything was okay and the thing started going up the lifthill. I wasn't so scared of it, I was just thinking about the 50 feet high drop. I dont remember more then that the first drop felt so hard in my stomach. I got the butterflies in my stomach feeling. It was fun because didn't even scream XD.

    This coaster is stupid, just ridiculous. If you ride in the backrow, the airtime is insane, and it's jolty, it takes turns that shouldn't be possible, almost like a wild mouse coaster. It hurts, it's wierd but damn I love this coaster. The trains and restraints are so minimal and you are so exposed, super fun ride in the back row!

    this is easily the most boring ride on the park and i cant believe they wasted the space and the money to build it, i have been on it and i nearly fell asleep, maybe it would have been great if i never went to liseberg and rode balder, but even then i wouldnt think anything special, i think they built it to compete with liseberg, but this park just doesnt have the space to compete. this park is cramped on a very tiny part of an half island, compared to liseberg wich takes up a a third of gothenburg.
    maybe with more space they could build better rides but i dont know. ive been there so much its not fun anymore.
