I never blamed Russ I always blamed the lakers for bringing him on it was trying to fit a square peg in a round hole from the jump heâs never been the 3rd option on any team in his life + what they need for him to elevate the team arenât his strong suits Russ can still play but heâs losing confidence due to being the butt of jokes and getting blamed for everything

The reason they brought Russ in was to make it easier on LeBron as far as running the offense and to keep the team afloat when AD gets hurt. He didnât get that done not only because he canât shoot but his decision making is garbage (as it always has been) and heâs been missing layups and wide open middies. Not to mention, he NEVER takes accountability when he plays poorly! Last year he even said that heâs allowed to miss shots đ€Šđœââïž. I agree that he doesnât fit with the team but heâs not even trying to change his game even a little bit. I agree with ticket that this is his last year in the league

Players fall off eventually but in my opinion the Lakers shouldnât have went for Russ, or even AD. Imagine Lebron, with Bradley Beal or Demar Derozan and a Clint Capela/Jarrett Allen type of centerâŠ
I agree with Russ trade but I still think AD trade was a good one. The problem was that after the bubble year (which was successful for them), they just decided to dismantle their roster instead of adding a third star of the types like you said (Zach Lavine or Jallet Allen type) who can either score more off ball (compared to Russ) or bring better defense/another pick and roll target when driving to the basket (than Russ).
Listen at the end of the day if u wanna play in the league rn u gotta know how to shoot he just canât shoot he relies on his athleticism which he isnât as bouncy as he use to be đ€·đœââïž and another thing they are professionals adjusting is part of the game u gonna have to play different roles and u gonna have to adjust

Russell Westbrook's problem is he moves in a helter skelter frenetic pace and his simple body movements are entirely too frenetic and fast which is causes to miss layups and simple shot attempts.
