Could you ask Calvin Smith if he took any legal supplements and whether the team USA doctor or any other doctors gave him any prescriptions, I think he mustve been just as competitive as others and any legal advantage would be interesting to know about, a lot of people ask about the doping when it comes to 80s sprinting but Id instead be interested to know what kind of thing was encouraged for clean athletes, it would provide more insight into how clean athletes can compete with those cycling steroids and the rest.

That was indoors. It put him out for several months. He reappeared in Zurich in 1988, taking 3rd in 10 flat to Lewis’ 9.93 and Smith finishing 2nd.
