@@juckimal You missed the point, my eyes were boggled and the mind was blown - that doesn’t change, regardless. I didn’t know he was a cheater until the Stanazalol bombshell hit a few days later. I was absolutely disgusted and embarrassed. It was an eye opener and ruined my trust in all athletes. I even stopped going to the gym for 2 years. In 1988 only few people knew about the slimey world of PEDs until the Johnson story broke. Youngsters like myself at the time looked up to Jamaican ex- pats like Johnson to boost image and smash baseless stereotypes. The man broke the hearts and goodwill of believers.

@@Pulsonar More than 80% of top athletes today are on some form of PED's. The temptation is there, the science is always keeping up with it, and there is simply too much money for all parties involved. Most organizations even permit some level of it because they know these athletes are the most entertaining. It is naive to think that athletes today have "evolved" or worked on better techniques. Especially when men are producing 33% less testosterone in their systems naturally than they did two generations ago, and are 2.5" shorter on average. They are all on more advanced forms of juice.
