Thank you so much for this video. I have a 2019 Si sedan, my rattle is as bad or if not worse - got to 12” subs. This has given me hope, the rattle is currently so bad I’m not even listening to music as often as I’d like
I did the same using AC foam and Kill Mat. Worked like a charm. It took a few days to isolate all the rattles, but I got em. Wires where a big issue, I wrapped them with thin strips and tesa tape.
This video helped tons I have 2 Memphis 12s in my q50 Infiniti and my license plate and trunk rattle so bad it is kinda embrassing, but it sounds a lot nicer inside . I am going to try to attempt this myself , lol wish me luck
Great job bro!!! 👍👍👍 I'm pretty sure theirs got to be a way to get zero rattles coming from the trunk!!! If anything they are just coming from your spoiler now, and the inside edge's of all around the trunk where it bounces up and down!!! Maybe with some sound deadner all the way around threw the inside could possibly stop all the remaining rattle's!!! Other than that it sounds pretty damn good!!! Great video demonstration on how to apply the sound deadner it looks fantastic!!!!👌👌👌

Hey bro I just started this process yesterday and I'm new to the spl setup trying to get ready for my first show and to compete a little for fun I have been doing a major overhaul on my 19 Camry just installed my autotech alternator and VCM ordered a 29AH SCIB bank should be here by Friday got a new deafbonce AAK 6k and a second run of 0 gauge OFC to the back anyway I started installing some silass max 120 mil deadener i got 2 layers on the trunk lid and rear deck and ran out I'm going to order some more but I'm wondering if that is going to be enough it's essentially 240 mil thick how much is right

Why does it matter if anyone sees the license plate number? I recently read an article about that and the conclusion of their article was that there is no reason whatsoever to blur your plate. Am I missing something?
Does bass increase or decrease adding second skin? I bought some and just wondering. I know it stop rattles the the question is the bass going be the same or you get more bass or less?
Does the inside of your center taillight rattle against the housing ? I’ve tried everything but opening the housing up but unfortunately I just might have to.
@ civicandbass what do you think on a battery isolator relay. I was going into install one for my starting battery a AGM and for secondary a lithium battery. Hope you Can à opinion
tuba Moraz That would be a good idea since you shouldn’t mix agm an lithium. Or you could get rid of the agm all together. The agm will drain the lithium when the car is off.
Hey jeep and bass have you tried to spray foam the trunk lid or take the trunk lid off and use smd sun flash resin or use on roof braces or resign the trunk carpet I do love deaf bounce ridgid sound deadener that @thelifeofprice sells

Jay Lakhani I also found that adjusting the trunk latch bracket helped a lot. I put it to the lowest position so the trunk closes tighter.

I just did my trunk I'm very happy! my subs are facing the back seats though I have them down most of the time for full bass experience
Could you explain why you decided to face the subs towards the backseat?

Used the same on my 300, that stuff is sticky for sure, oh then I decided to add a srt spoiler, ya fun times but that shca stuff works well

It should increase some. The biggest gain you’ll get it clarity. It will sound smoother and more accurate and obviously not rattle so much! Lol

I stuffed some foam in there. The trick is to not block the tail light, it’s definitely a pain.

No spray foam going in this car lol! I am going for a little modification possible. I did more work today and got it to nearly no rattle whatsoever.

SugarPimp904 All the speakers are stock for now. I removed the stock woofer. Still getting things together to do the speaker upgrade.
