- Actor John Krasinski, who made his name making us laugh in "The Office," has just directed his first horror film, "A Quiet Place." The scary part: it costars his wife, actress Emily Blunt. "Honestly, we had so many people telling us, 'You're gonna be divorced by the end,'" she told CBS News correspondent Anthony Mason.

I was just smiling ear to ear watching this interview. There's something about John and Emily that makes your heart warm. They're so perfect for each other! Emily is like a Female British version of John Krasinski and John is a American male version of Emily Blunt. ❤️

@Chasing Arches - A Quiet Place is a rare intelligent Thriller/Horror movie. It makes you think and feel for the characters. And, the sequel is coming out in March.
I also avoid horror movies, and loved A Quiet Place! I love suspense and it’s rare that there’s a good suspense film that doesn’t lean into horror and gore.
@@theolamp5312 REALLY good description! Perfect. I don't like horror movies, either, but this isn't your typical "horror" movie - or movie! My husband, 11 year old daughter, her 3 friends, and I absolutely LOVED it!

Back in the late 1960’s, and possibly in the early 1970’s, living in Richmond California, I would scurry out of bed, alone as usual, and watch your program while sitting on my home’s living room wood floor, wrapped in my favorite blanket! Back then you usually had a chubby fellow doing the interview. Saturday and Sunday mornings were truly my best of times telly-wise. This is a wonderful interview! Thank You.
