From "The Office": an American television mockumentary sitcom broadcast on NBC. Created as an adaptation by Greg Daniels of the British series of the same name, it is a mockumentary that follows the day-to-day lives of the employees of the Scranton, Pennsylvania branch of Dunder Mifflin, a fictional paper supply company. The series stars Steve Carell as Michael Scott, John Krasinski as Jim Halpert, Jenna Fischer as Pam Beesly and Rainn Wilson as Dwight Schrute.

Makes me wonder how Rainn Wilson got any of his scenes done. Dwight had to say the most ridiculous lines while remaining straight faced and serious most the times. That has to be very difficult to do. It had to be easier for Krasinski since Jim is usually smirking already as he delivers his jokes. But Dwight has to remain straight faced
If you go back and watch some of those scenes where he was having trouble they are cut ridiculously close after the line is over.

@@TAJY26 I could be misremembering but I'm almost positive a few of the bloopers are literally just the episode cut extended a few seconds to let someone laugh
I can't believe they ever got through an episode. And of course once you've got the idea 'you can't laugh' it just gets harder.
It’s connecting to that inner Dwight madness and being it rather than acting it out. But as soon as someone else laughs, it’s over.
I love how the camera guys still do the little Office zoom-ins even during the cracks

Seeing how much fun Rainn and John had working their scenes together makes me respect them more for being able to portray themselves as one another's nemesis.

I love how Steve's goal with the carpool bloopers is just him trying his best to make John laugh.

That’s not what Rainn Wilson admitted to, when interviewed on Bill Maher’s “Club Random” podcast. He said he was “mostly unhappy” with the direction his career took, despite loving his directors, his fellow Office actors, the show’s writers…etc.
He was gunning for some top notch leading roles in some big name Hollywood films, and struck out of all of them because of the “Dwight” typecasting…
@@twoblacklabs904 That interview is actually the reason I commented. Rainn (and many other actors) have struggled with various aspects of mental health behind the scenes, so it's nice to see the little positive moments. Laughter has been such a relief to me during the times I've been pretty miserable, and of course I want that for someone who makes me laugh

it's amazing how many of this bloopers could be in the show and we wouldn't notice, like jim missing dwight and hiting phillis with snowball, or the one where jim presses the duck when dwight is pissed about the mall
I watched a thing on how Rainn Wilson was really unhappy through much of his time making the office so seeing him laugh and be made to genuinely laugh by his cast mates is so heart warming and lovely. They might have been the only moments he was truly happy, In the moments of laughter during filming. There's an old saying, laughter is the best medicine. It couldn't be more apparent here. I can see why the most troubled souls want to make us all laugh.
