The Castlevania Symphony of the Night OST is filled with awesomeness. This Wood Carving Partita guitar cover was so fun to do. I actually did this one because I saw a random youtube comment that mentioned it. Listened to the song and immediately realized that I absolutely HAD to remix it on acoustic guitar. It felt so baroque. And I love me some bach. There aren't enough Castlevania guitar cover songs out there, because the music is so amazing and fitting.

When you hear it like this, it really makes you appreciate that the composers were basically writing a new timeless classical piece. Everyone always plays the pieces Segovia did, but very few are writing their own in that same style. At least that I am aware of. Those composers are the gift that keeps giving. Very excellent rendition and performance of this modern classical gem.

This was the last song a friend and I shared before he passed. We spent all summer one year playing SoTN many years ago. Thank you for this. It is beautiful, and it meant a lot to both of us.
It's been about a year now, had to step away from learning this I wasn't skilled enough at the time. But after learning several other arrangements of several different songs from you I can finally play this.

I lost count back when I was playing it on PS1 the year after it came out lol I have it for my Xbone now and I have 6 cleared files and I just started a new one the other day. I adore SoTN. Probably my favorite run is the punch only run (with the obvious exception of the Holy Rod for that specific encounter, for all of my veterans out there. Just didn't wanna spoil which one exactly for any that don't know about it).
It makes so many of the later bosses much more difficult, especially Galamoth. Early bosses are an absolute joke regardless of strategy though. I just love the atmosphere and music so much.

Man, your good. You know Castlevania SOTN is one of my favorite PS1 games in the early 2000's, I even recorded the soundtrack way back when I unlocked it in the Librarian's menu. I jacked the red and white audio of the PS1 cable on to my cassette with a red and white port and recorded the soundtrack on a tape. That's why I'll never forget SOTN's music. I might say your guitar rendition of the Long Library's music (Wood Carving Partita) is flawless. Kudos dude!

Absolutely magnificently played. One of my favorite pieces from SOTN. Well done. Amazing how well it sounds on classical guitar, so used to hearing piano. Almost makes me want to fix up or buy a new classical guitar and start learning this one but I am too into the world of bass guitar these days.
