Glauber Marciano when I first made it to Rito Village and heard this, I literally froze and was fan girling! Dragon Roost Island is my favorite Zelda theme ever.

It has a Wind Waker vibe to it, which holds a very dear place in my heart. Thanks for the good times.
It basically is a remake of the Dragon Roost Island theme, so yeah, same vibe indeed :)
Its a remix of dragon roost Island from WInd Waker! but transformed from a up beat, to a calmer melody. It just magic.

I think BoTW did an interesting take on the Zelda franchise as it relied less on action/puzzle solving and high paced music to a more somber and immersive experience. This highlights how impressive the music can be and how although light, still carries an intense tune like something out of a Ghibli film. Good shit dude!
Sooo many of the themes gave me ghibli vibes. Come to think of it, the whole game did. What a masterwork
I agree! What really sells the Ghibli vibes are the cartoonish characters in a realistic environment. Also , I believe that Nintendo chose the soft music scores so it wouldn’t distract the player from the sounds of nature in the game.
The japanese have the best sense of aesthetics in my opinion!

You know what’s nuts - when he runs out of notes on the fretboard, he uses harmonics seamlessly, almost like there were those extra high frets on the guitar. This guy is something else. This version is good enough to be in the game!
The music from breath of the wild already feels nostalgic to me even though I only played the game about a year and a half ago. This is probably my favourite piece from the game. Awesome cover dude

I haven't even played that game before, but I heard the motiv inmediatly. Great composition work was done in this game, each piece is made with love.
Yeah, it's due to the fact the ritos are from dragon roost. So they use the same melody.

ToastyIsBaked dragon roost island, one of my favorite themes c: I was mesmerized when I heard the rito village version in botw
JakeZleeper as of late i would have said that botw was my favourite, but now that I've realized it has poor replayability if you've 100% beat it the first time, I'm going back to wind waker being my favourite. The atmosphere is damn near perfect in that game, especially since the music is much more prominent.
I can't described the feeling that the rolling chords in this soundtrack bring me. I get chill every time i hear them. Hajime Wakai is an amazing composer and thank you Sam for doing this song justice
