Excellent recipe👍,I used organic drumsticks instead of thighs and added some sliced green bell pepper along with the onion slices. The smoked paprika makes all the difference. This one was delicious! As I had forgot how to make homemade chicken gravy, no more of the canned cream of chicken stuff for me. this was waaay better my kids and husband loved it. it will be a staple in our house from now on! Before, they had stopped eating baked chicken and gravy, so now Ive reeled them back in! Thanks Rosie!

I made this tonight it was excellant especially the gravy!! We all tore it up over rice. The chicken i had to cook a lot longer though. I did bake 20 mins covered then id say hour uncovered then took the chicken out the gravy and put in another pan to broil until the top was crispy. It was so good though definitely a keeper.

I made the gravy today. The 2 things I did differently was to saute onions in the skillet before adding the flour and I added a little milk, about 2-3 tbsp, before adding the chicken broth.

It took me double the time to cook these recipe I realized it was because of the amount of chicken I was making and my oven speed great recipe indeed!
