It was really interesting to hear your thoughts on this. I agree that simplicity and clarity is so key when you're learning how to cook plant-based (or any diet)
So conflicted!!! It's a beautiful book and I love the Turkey Chilli, the chicken and broccoli rice dinner, and the mediterranean crunch salad. But I have to agree on the time commitment thing - it's never a quick "throw together" kind of meal. So many recipes I haven't tried because they just look too daunting with ingredients and steps. Matt made the sheet pan tofu dish last week as I was working, and we ate a VERY LATE dinner that night.....which is discouraging for him as he tries to become more involved and comfortable in the kitchen.
Mairi - I agree with you. Decent recipes for when you want to take the time in the kitchen. But I definitely wouldn't recommend it for someone who is looking to become more confident in the kitchen.
Great review Kristen. I’m vegan 🌱 so I love knowing ahead of time if it’s worth investing in buying a cookbook. We want to be able to try everything and want to go back to those recipes. I downloaded the “How not to die cookbook” but find there are a lot of ingredients I can’t easily find around my area. Do you have a review on that book?
What vegetable-centric cookbooks do you love? Please share some good news!
Could you review Plant Over Processed by Andrea Hannemann please?! I got it from the library and I’d definitely love to see a review from you
@@That_one_summergirl Thank you for the recommendation. I'll check it out.
I find that I tend to go online to find good recipes then cook books. Thank you for sharing 👍

I will be sharing this with my Veg lover friends who will be so happy to see this. Thanks for sharing!
yum! super helpful especially since I am trying to incorporate more plants into my diet
I told myself I truly want to start using cookbooks again. Thank you for this!
Thank you for your reviews. I get overwhelmed looking at cookbooks in the bookstore. This will help narrow it down!
You are so welcome!

Would love to see you review one of Danielle Walker’s Against All Grain paleo cookbooks. My favourite of hers so far is “Eat What You Love”
