DIY - How to make cute faux leather product labels

- Great for creatives who make handmade products. A cheap alternative to buying lots of labels. Whether you choose to make 10 or 500 its up to you.
This is a quick and easy method to make low cost, professional looking labels.
You'll need:
* A heat press (the type for printing things onto t-shirts)
* an ink jet printer
* light coloured T-shirt Transfer Paper
* Light Coloured Heat Resistant Vinyl /Faux Leather/Leatherette
* Scissors, ruler
* some sort of software to design your logo (such as Word, Photoshop or other photo software, or Procreate (which is what I used))

Can you use a regular iron if you don't have a heat press?
I dont see why not. Just make sure not to touch the iron onto the vinyl.

Hi. Yes you can do this an iron. Just be careful not to touch the iron onto the vinyl. You will need a high setting and it will be trial and error on timings. Start around 15-20 seconds and press hard. Let me know how it goes
I don't have a heat press. Would an iron work?
I think an iron would work but be careful not to touch the vinyl with the iron.
Did you mean to mirror the image before printing?
Yes. The image is mirrored to print, placed face down ie print side down onto vinyl. Heat and pressure is applied and When the back is pealed off, the print is the correct way around ❤️

Definitely handwashable. Ive washed out small pouches by hand with these labels. But not tried in the washing machine
