after you get it all cleaned, apply ceramic spray in toilet bowl. the ceramic spray for cars. turn off the water, flush and take out as much of the water as you can in bowl. dry the inside of the bowl, spray the ceramic spray in the bowl and even outside of toilet to. rub all around, then buff it. do it again, same thing spray,rub,buff. you will see that the ceramic spray will protect the porcelain and it will stay clean. you will not have to scrub like you did any more. you will have to clean toilet, will be much easier to clean. apply ceramic spray 2 to 3 times a year. try it

I would say the pumice did the job. I've used it with normal toilet cleaners for small toilet rings and it's what made the difference.
