- Mercedes have massively shifted their focus on 2024, and the first details of the W15 are already known to the public media! It seems like they are going to fix majority of the issues that hindered the performance of not only the W14, but the W13 as well, and there is strong belief among the F1 experts that Mercedes might actually fight with for the championship in 2024! With the latest details that Andrew Shovlin and Toto Wolff spoke about, as well as Hamilton’s engagement in the entire development of the W15, could we see the Brit take his 8th, record-breaking championship in times where not many believe there would be tight competition before 2026?

@@Jayhawkfinance he won 4 years ago. You and everyone knows the w13 and 14 is a dog shit car but there still able to finish 2nd in constructors and Hamilton top 6 In drivers this year. Red Bull is already 2, 5 years ahead with the philosophy they are trying to adopt. RB has been working on their 2024 car before the summer break, barely bringing huge upgrades to this seasons car while Mercedes is closing a gap this years car.
That’s not true, rb began with their 2024 car after the summer break, and there are regulations from when teams can begin with next years cars.

Mercedes are a champion team all the other years they were dominant let’s do the same thing when we were dominant next year

Just pointing out a huge mistake. You said Lewis is contracted until the end of 2024. Its confirmed on the official F1 Website that he contracted to the end of 2025 as it George. They were 2yr extentions!

Why? I hope you're right BTW but the W14 hasn't been as bad as made out, there's been plenty of top 5 finishes and podiums. Development for the W14 has all but stopped, to concentrate on the W15. People said McLaren were a basket case at the start of this season, too, remember....

Personally I think in 2022 Lewis didn’t have his head fully in the game - I think that 2021 hurt him & when he came back in 2022 he was still hurting & not right. But now in 2023 he’s back in it & fighting. Come on Lewis

the thing is its not the car which makes max this quick tbh just look at the evidence if you where to exclude max from all the races you would not believe that the rb would be such a great car
its max who just manages to get the max out of it that was already clear in 2021 when he was the only one on the field constantly fighting with the mercs.
The RB19 is clearly the best car/driver combo. The fact that Checo isn't doing well is more on Checo than his car
@@timjohnun4297 the thing is would you have known that if max wasnt part of the line up to begin with is the question, like if for example the whole season would have been yuki and checo or de vries and checo would you than have known the rb is such a good car i think not in that case it would have been considered a average car as non of those drivers would be as dominant as max has been so far.

No matter how good a racer is some can explain what they need in ways engineers can use and some can't, just saying "it needs more front grip" doesn't give the designer quite all they need. In motogp ktm wasn't getting it right until they hired dani pedrosa as a test rider and he was able to help the engineers in ways that their racers hadn't been able to. It's why some teachers are great and some can't get their knowledge across (even if they are brillant) to students in ways they can use

I'm a merc fan, but honestly whenever I see these videos now of people saying the W15 will be an insanely quick car, I always have to correct that to being how awful the car will be.
Don't get me wrong, the W14 is really quick this season, but no car is on Red Bull's level, and I know Red Bull will just dominate next season unless the FIA bring in some last minute regulation changes which they won't cause they favour Max and Red Bull, but all other videos I've seen of people saying how the W13 will be a rocket ship.. yeah, it wasn't lol

New rules are when the smart designers get to shine. Red Bull have Newey, who gave them a massive head start. But as time rolls on, the rest of the field generally make gains on the leaders. I hate Merc and would be happy to see them midfield, but I do think they will close the gap. It's not as big a gap as being made out, tbh
I think it’s easy to forget just how much progress red bull made whilst cheating with massive budget overspend.
when they were found out it was too late they had gained so much from their cheating it was impossible to give
other teams any chance of making the deficit up. From then on red bull just developed the car month on month
staying ahead of everyone. As Ferrari said the punishment red bull was given did not give them the 1/2 sec
advantage they had gained by cheating. When locking in development for 4 years if you don’t keep all teams
on a level playing field the team way out in front will just stay there. It’s been a boring period in f1 and they’ve
long huge investment and following. If it continues with red bull domination due to cheating i can’t see f1
being a long term investment risk anymore and sponsorship will drop off. It’s I bit like men dominating women’s
sport by saying they are women and winning all the events. Eventually women will leave the sport no sponsorship will
bd given because to women because there is no chance of them ever winning. Cheats will always destroy a sport
in any field, the punishment must be really hard and banning these people should be the way to go, remove them
from the sport and allow fair competition.
