- I needed a Real type of fender flare for my 2021 z950 and I didn't see anything on the market to fit the bill so i built them myself.

You've done a great job with your machine. The flares turned out amazing. I'm picking up some ABS this week....and this will be my next weekend project. Thanks for the great DIY tips.

We are going to be at Hatfield McCoy on September 2nd - 5th. We ride a little aggressive sometimes but most of the time we just cruise to have fun. Yea, you will catch us slinging mud at each other, calling each other names but we don't drink beer or do any drugs. Well, we do drink a few beers when we park the units but no drugs. Its all a good time. Man, I wouldn't care if someone wanted to ride a unicycle, as long as they are having fun, I'm having fun. No competition, no intimidation just good ole boys having fun. At my age 57, I need some fun. God knows it!!!

Yes, I'm 100% hillbilly.... Considering the unit and the situation the power is good enough. The fender flares were so easy. I didn't even want to do the video because of how easy it is. But I'm gonna make a video in the next couple of days with All my extras I've done and a link where to get these parts. Hopefully it helps people to make the unit they want. BTW, thanks for posting and enjoy the ride no matter what unit you are riding in.

Just got it running again. Still have to change the one way bearing on the clutch. I may head back to Hatfield McCoy next month to get some action in.

Earlier in the video.....you mentioned the thickness of the ABS you used was 1/8th inch thick. The link you've provided is also for 1/8th inch thick. Then at the tail end of the video you mentioned 1/4th inch thick. Can you clarify? Also...how many sheets of the 24 x 48 did you utilize for the fenders? Any info is appreciated.
Definitely 1/8" ... I purchased 2 sheets. Only 1 flare per sheet.

Near beginning he mentioned 1/8” ABS and at the end said 1/4”. Can’t tell by looking at video. Anyone know for sure. Big diff in price.

Drop a plumb line on the fender to see how far to cut.
I want about 1" of tire reveal. I couldn't even see my tires this last trip. Plus I got it hung up on everything on this side of the Mississippi.
you can just sell these!
I would consider it but if someone installed it wrong or says it doesn't fit then it would come back on me and that's why I did a how to video.
