Thanks for being so honest and candid. This knowledge is gold. Thanks for talking about it. Making a living as an artist has become really challenging. When was it not? A lot of educators don't seem to want to talk openly about all the things they are doing to make a successful life in music. It's not easy. So many things have to be balanced. Hi Tina, greetings from Hungary! I just wanted to say hi and give you a big thumbs up for this video. I've been casually watching your channel for a while but haven't had a chance to comment before (I usually watch from my phone).
I really enjoyed several of your lessons but this video especially resonated with me. Your points about imposter syndrome, inner confidence, etc hit close to home. I think these skills really translate to other areas in our life - not just music.

when is your record coming out ?
i struggled too, my teacher turned me on to jazz and I lost interest in rock music around 1987 and focused on progressive jazz, fusion, and classical music
