Thanks! I really like these 70-73 Camaros myself. Almost bought a 74 Z/28 years ago and passed. Really wanted the round tail lights. Then I had another friend build a 73 Z/28 and put a 540 BB in it. It was far from stock.
Can't wait to see the final results. Subscribed to your channel because of Luka Cee. He suggested your channel and I'm not disappointed. Keep em coming.
I love the colour choices and the finished 'rootbeer' Camaro is awesome. As for under hood detail, you could add a under hood pad or copy under hood detail from a revell or AMT perhaps. I've used thin sheet styrene and copied the detail that way and then glued it on the underside before paint and it looked great. Can't wait for your final 'reveal' on the 71 ss 396.
@@TheMuscleCarModeler I just saw a video where a guy did cloth seat texturing with an airbrush and coarse woven fabric. czcams.com/video/Wn7Q4qnU6xk/video.html
Sir when putting foil on your builds do you use the foil on your chevelle and cameo logos That cameo will great build when you finished with. Keep up the great work
Looking very nice, I might have missed but what paint did you use for the interior?, that's a great colour. And I love the brown stock 71, I have the annual 70 AMT kit ( orange drag car box art) it has the same stock wheel covers but I think the MPC kit was the better of the two manufacturers
I really like those Camaros. I wish they would update and release them again. Nice work.
Thank you! AMT did release a newer tool of the 70 Z/28 and Baldwin Motion.
i really like those camaros too. thanks for the very interesting update.
Thanks for watching!
That's really looking great Raoul and those are my favorite Camaros!

@@TheMuscleCarModeler 71 is my favorite because that was the year I was born. I had a buddy in high school that had a 71 and I always loved that car.

Great work, and thanks for sharing your knowledge. I like the 72 as it reminds me of James Garner / Rockford Files (I know his was a Pontiac)😃
Thanks for watching!
Outstanding work as usual!,i really like what you did with the 72!,will you do a feauture on that build sometime?.
Yes I will!
May be we can get revel or amt to do a 74 to 77 camaro preferably. Amt so we can use parts from the 70 camaro b/m kits
They did the annuals but those are rare now.
Nice work as usual. Have you thought about doing a dark brown wash on the interior to add depth? And maybe even a wash on the engine.
I thought about it but would really do it on a convertible.

The SS 396 is looking great! I also really like the dark brown car with the hubcaps. Are the hubcaps from the AMT 1970 Impala kit?
No they are from the original kit but I believe real similar to what is in the 70 Impala.

Yes I do. Thanks!
Just gorgeous, Raul. I have a 1998 SS Camaro convertible. Can’t find a 98-02 kit. Any suggestions?
AMT did some 98-02 Z/28's and maybe a convertible. Revell did a 35th anniversary SS.

I just used Testors Leather. It is in one of my progress videos.
Are all camaros that are big blocks have the rear panels blacked out?
From the factory yes. Last big block Camaro was 72. No more SS Camaros until 1996 but those were not big blocks.
Molo-tow, not motolow
Yes. But I was tired and my tongue was tied!
